I sent a lvl 1 out with no gear to die in the wasteland once. Sure enough when I resurrected him he'd found POWER ARMOR and a sawed off shotgun... He's now one of my main explorers.

On the bright side, this saves you the trouble of leveling him all the way up, giving him a sawed-off shotgun and battle armor, and having him die in a molerat attack when the game decides 10 of your people need to die.

Yes, molerats. Molerats killed my max-Endurance max-Strength guy and 9 others, all of which had 6-8 damage weapons. I no longer play Fallout Shelter.

I play since 3 days and currently I have Howard in the wasteland since 21hrs and he used just one stimpack so far (and 4 rad away).
