Comparing people to Nazis is usually an insult.

Comparing peoples fashion to the Nazis is always a compliment. Guys were fucking stylin'.

The Nazi party was reputable on their looks. They were made to look attractive, as with their uniforms.

Propaganda is largely responsible for this idea. Model Aryans get media exposure, the uglies don't. Look at the Nazi leadership, Hitler, Himmler and Goering were some of the ugliest leaders in history. Himmler looks like a melted thumb, he used to cover his own face out of embarrassment during photographs.

"Himmler appeared to be “a fairly short, ill-looking man in shabby civilian clothing,” and his unimposing presentation was nothing new. He had always been embarrassed by his weak chin and sought to cover it with his hand when being photographed, and his weak eyes forced him to wear spectacles (or a pince-nez) throughout his life."

Adolf Hitler was many things, but ugly is definitely not one of them. I think the toothbrush moustache is what gives him a look that could easily turn off a modern person, and that's only because of the negative connotations and silliness that the moustache carries with it. Take a look at this picture of a modern Hitler and tell me that guy isn't handsome as shit.

lol with the earbuds!

yeah I guess he's handsome in a "I want to serial kill you" kind of way

Better than being ugly in the ''I want to serial kill you'' kind of way.

Eh, he always looked saggy and lumpy to me.

And if you're trying to get me to masturbate to Hitler, please stop.

And still, with Nazi clothing Himmler was elegant. Probably edited.

Goering not so much.

I guess it's a matter of opinion. You posted probably the best looking picture of him that exists. Look at this picture of him in uniform as a comparison: http://imgur.com/EkESegH And you have to understand, he's trying hard to pose and look good here. Not even the most advanced photo editing techniques of the time could have saved him.

They had legit designers make that shit

British Army officers could (optionally) purchase Burberry trenchcoats from the turn of the 20th century to the end of WWII.

British officer's uniforms were historically from Savile Row tailors, particularly Gieves & Hawkes. Still are.

Well, now I'm annoyed that I passed up the chance to join the OTC.

Maybe the Italian Fascists wore Armani?

(they didn't, I just looked it up)

So wait, if I have get an undercut and also wear a fedora would I be a nazi, a chad, and a neckbeard all at the same time?

[–]ShortWarriorThe name is Tips. Tips Fedora. 2

The allies had exactly the same haircuts though. Everyone did around then. Except the women

I recall reading somewhere that a lot of their uniforms were made by Hugo Boss.

They knew how to dress.
