Seriously, stop.

Stop telling trans people that we need to be polite and nice to their oppressors in order to change anything, as though we are children being punished for having the gall to stand up to an abusive parent.

It’s sickening. They’ve killed over 20 of out sisters this year, and I’m fucking pissed about that. I’ve had it up to here, but I’m somehow not allowed to be angry about that. “No one wants to listen to a bitch.”

Bitches get shit done. Bitches don’t give a fuck about our oppressors’ feelings because they don’t deserve it. Someone with our blood on their hands is not someone who deserves courtesy.

They’re not going to listen to you being polite and cowardly. All you will accomplish is that you will make it that much easier for them to kill you next.

Because you won’t put up a fight

Because you’d rather keep letting our sisters die than end up being called a bitch.

Bitch is a compliment. Bitch is a token of pride. When you call me a bitch, you remind the world that I’m not going to shut up just because it’s what a cissexist, transphobic, transmisogynist society wants me to do. You remind the world that I refuse to cater to the fragile egos of the privileged when people are being denied basic human rights like, oh, I don’t know, BREATHING.

I you’re part of an oppressed minority and you are tone policing your brothers and sisters, you are a part of the problem, and I don’t have time for it. You can take action, or you can get out of the way of those of us who aren’t afraid.
