I’m just going to clarify a little.
Places where thin people with restrictive eating disorders (TPWRED) absolutely should not talk about their body dysmorphia in terms of “I feel fat”:
In spaces specifically for fat people.
Directly to fat people, unless the fat person is BOTH a friend AND someone they already know won’t be upset by it.
Places where TPWRED should talk about their body dysmorphia in any way they want:
In spaces that are specifically for discussing the experiences of people with eating disorders of any size.
With their therapist.
Places where TPWRED should be careful how they talk about their body dysmorphia:
Everywhere else.
Things TPWRED absolutely never get a pass for:
Spewing fatphobia.
Saying that fat people cannot have restrictive eating disorders.
Saying that fat people do not get to call them on their fatphobia.
