          Hey Reddit, I ate three meals a day boiled chicken, something green, rice and juiced allot (It's amazing if you never tried juicing before I highly recommended) I started walking around the block for 30 min to a hour. I progressed to walking around 5-10 miles everyday (no breaks Mon-Sun) I'm now running about 15 miles everyday (expect the weekends) My next step is to try and get ripped up.           At 254 pounds, I sincerely doubt he can do 15 miles in a day, let alone five days a week.

          At my running prime (155 pounds, sub 6 minute mile) I could manage maybe 10 miles a day for 5 consecutive days. (During the summer I could do more since I had more free time, but when you have to juggle school and such as well, it takes some toll on you.)

          TL;DR, he's probably not running as much as he claims unless he literally has nothing else to do.

Good on OP for making a big change to improve his life but if he did 15 miles a day every day then his knees would be blown out at his weight by now. 15 miles a day is running at a competitive or amateur marathon level and damn near no runner sustains that every day.
