Recently there has been a trend among the SJW/SRS/specialsnowflake crowd to take over subreddits they don't like and ruin them for everyone else. These people are also actively collecting subreddits on political topics that they are on the extreme fringe of (see: /r/FreeSpeech) in an effort to control the conversation.

It has become clear that the other side wants nothing more than to ruin the reddit experience of anyone who is not part of their terrorist organization. In an effort to prevent this from continuing I think we should all start engaging in the same behavior. I'm not suggesting that we should do the same thing as /r/punchablefaces and ruin subreddits, rather that we actively gain moderator positions on subreddits (or use existing positions) to prevent that subreddit from being taken over and ruined.

• Step 1: Become the top moderator of a subreddit (or many subreddits). Focus on subreddits larger than 10,000 subscribers.
  
• Step 2: Subscribe to /r/ModeratorCooperative. Send a message to the moderators informing them that you want your subreddit to join the collective.
