Wow, dont start anything if you have no savings...wow, youre more of a genius than I am. Did you, before you assumed how I live, bother to also assume that MAYBE....I had done just that? But guess what... life is pretty RANDOM....and shit happens to people. Me, as synchronicity would have it the very day before my credit card arrived in the mail, I was getting released from the hospital for facial reconstructive surgery among other things...let me just say that a single hospital day is 21 grand and thats only the room. My savings, disappeared like water out of a gaping hole.

So please, enough with the assumptions on how I live and what I must NOT have been doing all along...the finger wagging is a bit too holier than thou ok?

I said I incurred massive hospital bills.... I did not say I spent my savings before I got my card....

What..did you expect me to take the Discover card, with its measly 2 grand and apply it towards the oh jeez,,80 some grand in medical bills I got over oom cost, surgery cost, multiple doctor cost oh boy do they love to charge you $250 just for coming into the room for 30 seconds and having you follow their finger left and right....one doctor did that, $250, he was in and out....wow..

mm... dontcha think it was smarter, although a gamble, but smarter still, to invest that small bit of money in my ability to earn income so that I could earn.....more...income?

A gamble yes, who can predict that freelance work will slow down, its random, but its been VERY nice for a long time. If I dont have current equipment I cant compete with people at the very same level as me....

Then it got crappy, and now, it appears to be starting back again as I have a client who can potentially get my discover card issue paid off in 3 months time, but they want this to be in court next month so thats pretty useless...

I made a logical gamble to invest the 2 grand into equipment that permits me to achieve more clients, there was no way to predict that I would not be having clients as much because they simply werent looking for anyone, and I mean, in all my years of doing this work, the past 2 years was like some freak el nino. No one seemed to care for hiring anyone, I never saw any offers. Ive had this one client, keeping me afloat for about a year now, thats it. He is the same one who is able to help me pay this off by this new work project, but obviously, too late for any good.

and it doesn't matter what you would prefer to be doing. You don't really get to just say "oh well, I'm freelancing!" and not pay your bills while using your decision to not seek supplemental income as some sort of armor.

Where exactly do you get from my posting, that I ever said anything of the sort? OR are you balking from personal experience about your own reasoning? I never said that.

Also, your attitude is truly not required. You've been getting advice, whether you like it or not.

if you would read all my posting you would see thats complete bull. But it seems that comprehension is part of reading and youre not comprehending my situation mainly because youre probably not reading and instead are making assumptions.

After all, youve already made up situations about what I must believe....and what steps I must have taken or must not have bothered to undertake....

yeah which Ive stated prior, Im not pulling in any amount of freelance income like I was 2 years back- theres a VERY VERY obvious lul in my area of work. Its became very obvious about 16 months ago because Ive been doing this over 10 years and Ive never had an issue until about 2 years ago when now, suddenly I have a shit load of compeition from across the globe....

So, its not like I changed, my intention to pay was always there- because come on, why buy computers to increase potential income earning, to try and save money to be successful and not live hand to mouth, ONLY to then...decide to fuck that all up by refusing to pay and ruin my credit?

Seriously? Thats the sort of asshole comments I deal with here- that Im scamming Discover card or that Im somehow oblivious that I owe money.... I mean, jesus christ .... My situation for approx 2 years, directly after purchasing the equipment prevented me from adequately making payments. THIS sorta thing happens. Its just happening to ME... And NO...obviously freelancing doesnt die- but it sure the fuck becomes extremely competitive. However, as I said, it doesnt die- Ive got a client now that is paying me to where I "can" potentially pay this debt off within 3 months time, but this letter is regarding a court date next month. So, thats pretty moot.
