Participated in the 2015 Gator Motorsports track day at Putnam Park Road Course.

This was my first time at this track and my fastest lap was a 1:22.57 followed by a 1:22.67. My lap timer shows a virtual best of 1:22.24 so I was fairly consistent (for better or worse) by the end of the day.

Performed brake fluid flush with Motul RBF 600 and did pre-track-day inspection of wheels and brakes.

The old fluid was pretty clean and bubble-free.

Had a new set of Toyo R888 tires installed (again in 195/50ZR-16 and 225/45ZR-17) at Nortown Auto. One tire had a screw in it and they needed to be replaced anyway. I got about 13 months, 5,000 miles, and 9 days on track out of the old set.

Replaced stock fiberglass wing with a glossy, 6k twill (matching the front spoiler and side scoops)
carbon fiber wing that is slightly longer, wider, and has three settings for an adjustable angle of attack.

Replaced old lead acid battery (37 ½ pounds) with a Voltphreaks VPH750 lithium ion battery and NCI bracket (5 ¼ pounds), saving 32 ¼ pounds!

The VPH750 battery has an automatic low voltage cutoff which can turn the battery off when it gets low, so it won't die completely and can just be turned back on to start the car. It also has a power button so I can just turn it off during the winter instead of having to trickle charge it.

Re-installed Reverie XC carbon fiber seat after getting a seat pad for it to raise me up back to the level of the original seat. Now my elbows don't hit the (much higher) sides of the seat when turning and my field of vision is better. I still need to find a different seat belt buckle that has webbing behind it so I can bolt it into the seat in place of the original buckle and pass it through the lap belt hole in the seat.

Also had the car waxed.
