I think there is a difference between attacking someone for something they cannot help or choose, such as their skin colour, sexuality, and so on; and criticising someone for things they have control over - their jokes, the beliefs they choose to associate with, etc. There is a danger of saying that just because someone perhaps has to deal with the unfortunate reality of bigots and abuse in one area (such as their transgender status) they cannot be criticised in other areas (the views or things they choose to say). That is, incidentally, what I understand the SJW label applies to - a person who will demand that someone else who might attract, say, sexism, is immune to criticism, challenge or even ridicule and abuse that has little to do with targeting their gender and that instead stems from the things they say.

Is it possible to give an example of the sort of posts that TB was referring to in his soundcloud? The transphobic comments. As I understand they've been deleted now. I am curious whether they were gender-blind criticisms, or attacks on someone because of their trans status.

Trans in general is an area I am not that clued up on, apart from thinking someone can identify however they like - it is THEIR identity, after all, and no one else's. I am quite curious anout the science and facts behind it, though.
