GUYS in Movies vs. Real Life by Dan Hopper and Illustrated by Cynthia Cheng
MORE IN-DEPTH FILM ANALYSIS:
Wait a minute I’m suddenly realizing now.
Women assume that men are exactly like they are in movies. That’s why feminists think that we’re all about guys who sleep around.
God damn my world feels so much better with things making sense now. It’s pretty amusing that “collegehumor” is the thing redpilling you on this.
After starting my transition and coming out to my friends, I quickly realized that men are not represented well in media. We don’t talk about the people we sleep with, unless it’s getting serious and we think it’s something that will last. Sure, there is teasing, but it’s in a good natured light hearted way- we are happy for you. Yes, we check out girls together, but it’s nothing more than a “damn that girls butt was nice” in passing. The hyper masculinity in media is so weird, because I rarely ever meet guys like that.
This is an absolutely absurd erasure of women’s experiences. This isn’t even “not all men,” this is “NO men.” You think there are men who act like this? Oh well you got that from the movies. Feminists never have any ACTUAL EXPERIENCES that they’re referring to when they condemn these behaviors. They’re all just making assumptions based on the movies (which pulled this stuff purely from the magic of misandrist imagination). Phew! It’s so great I finally figured out why all those feminists are really upset and can dismiss their concerns now as baseless bullshit! Stop blowing things out of proportion, feminists! Acting like this stuff happens enough to talk about it as though it actually affects anyone! You watch too much TV!
