The republican party has been deliberately steering this country towards modern day feudalism for the past 40 years. Every single year it's "Let's try the same shit we did last year, only harder. Surely it will work this time!"

Of course we're going to sound pretentious to someone dumb enough to vote for the people who are fucking him in the ass. Republicans are systematically and purposefully dismantling the middle class but they have the poor and the poorer preoccupied with fighting each other the entire time.
