I'm white and I have blue eyes and blond hair. People should be throwing scholarships at my exotic ass.

We should like, start a protest. Equality for the Aryans!

NEIN!

Yes, nine more equality for all Aryans!

There are dozens of us!

Let's not go down this road again!

youd be surprised how much you can utilize "nazi propaganda" and people will like and upvote it. It seems like we are heading in a similar route (not saying that we will start with internment camps and gas people, but we are going back to the same mindset as the germans had during those times.)

You guys had your chance. I do nazi you getting another one.

I do nazi forsee you getting another one.

dude, it's "I do nazi you getting another one." How do you screw that up?

edit: Ah good, you corrected it.

Wait im brown hair hazle eyes but am mainly german and lagitimatly find blonde girls more attractive, am i safe from the holo... i mean protest?

I have blue eyes and some blonde hair...most of it fell out. Does that still count?

Aren't bald men in the minority? Maybe we can rally around that. I no longer defer to the quaffed!

Coiffed?

Gaah, you're right. I have nothing against drinkers. Oh well, I'll leave that monument to my stupidity right there.

Statistically speaking, Asians are over-represented minority so they experience a negative bias for scholarships. So in a way, colleges are throwing scholarships at your 2.4 GPA ass.

Already seeing this in grade school. I've heard this story from several parents. White/Asian mixed kids? Put them in as Asian, nope, you don't get into the advanced programs. Put them in as White? The kids get into the program.

Wait what the fuck do you have to put your race when applying to school in the United States?

Of course.

You can leave it blank. But it doesn't really help you.

"We give big bonus points to blacks and latinos and native americans and legacy admissions."

"We give little bonus points to whites and females."

"We give no bonus points to Asians."

What are you? Nothing? Then you get nothing.

Yes. It's very hurtful to Caucasians and ESPECIALLY Asians (eastern asia-india. Middle eastern students count as white, and Russians are couted as white as well.). Much harder to get in if you're those two races. Also, if you are South African but white, you can't put African American as your race, as only black students can put that, even if they haven't had any ties to Africa for centuries.

You definitely can put african-American. If they try to argue, you can also sue them for discrimination. I'm Half Black/Half White. I could put Asian and there is literally nothing they could do.

as only black students can put that, even if they haven't had any ties to Africa for centuries.

Added emphasis.

[–]Likes_Information 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

It's irrelevant. "African-American" is a dumbass term coined by politically correct elitist that's inapplicable in our 21st-century global community.

Wasn't there some reported who asked a British black guy about being African-American? Totally idiotic.

A friend in high school, wayyyy back in the very late 80's, immigrated from South Africa to the U.S. and had a jolly good time putting down "african american" on paperwork.

He was a 6' beanpole with blond hair, blue eyes, and skin so white it was blinding.

A couple of administrators tried to call him out on it and he straight up told them "I am literally from Africa, are you discriminating against me because of my skin color?!"

The looks of abject confusion, horror, and repressed rage were priceless.

Also, if you are South African but white, you can't put African American as your race, as only black students can put that, even if they haven't had any ties to Africa for centuries.

Says who?

Isn't it African-American/Black? I don't see how any white South African can get away with that...

I don't get why people make such a big deal about this. No one in the United States has ever advocated for the rights of people from the African continent. They fought for the rights of those who were brought to America as slaves 100s of years ago and have faced systemic discrimination ever since.

For a black south african, you could argue that their skin color makes them prone to racial profiling, that they are lumped into the people of African descent we deliberately discriminate against and therefore deserve some extra help/affirmative action to compensate for that.

If you're a white South African in the United States, and you try to put your race as African-American to try and benefit from affirmative action, all you are is a cynical pedant. Furthermore, given White South Africans history of subjugation, genocide, and apartheid against black South Africans, you would literally be asking for advantages as a descendant of racists that are supposed to be people who are descendants of those oppressed by racists.

If you're going into one of the advanced programs within the public schools, you need to specify race, from what I recall. Asians are a large portion of the population in these programs in my area. Parents with mixed kids are selecting the non-Asian option of the mix to improve their odds of getting into these advanced programs.

Most high schools in the States(and other schools) have race specific clubs, but never a white club. There's Hispanic, Asian, and African American clubs.

I'm from an area where the minority is white, which makes the tradition that much more odd.

Fun fact even many Americans don't know: Native Americans are eligible for free health care from birth. To play that privilege down, you'll hear shit like: "yeah, but the service isn't that good". http://www.ihs.gov/

Now I wait for an SJW Redditor to tell me to go back to Stormfront.....

Asian kid with 89 average: nah let him pay his own way through college

Black kid with 69 average: full ride.

source: me and my friend from high school.

edit: this is in reference to the same 4 CUNYs we both applied to.

Give me proof of ONE black kid with an F average getting into ANY school worth a shit. If you bitter people applied to HBCUs you would see the other side of AFFIRMATIVE action. But you don't want to go to those school, and why is that? Pretty much any white kid can get a full ride to any HBCU in the country.

69 is not an F though. in my school 64 is an F.

[–]diagetic_getdown 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

It all depends 69 is failing in my high school

To be fair, I think 69 being an F is pretty standard.

Round 2 of this shit huh?

round 2?

All day AFFIRMATIVE action threads get started in posts that have nothing to do with it. Why? Why do black people have to come up at all?

Affirmative action is race based. This post is race-based. It's almost guaranteed to come up. Try rebutting rather than bitching.

How does this not relate to the topic at hand?

How does affirmative action relate to this post? Seriously tell me.

there's a black person in the post and the post itself is about statistics.

So because there is a black guy and we are talking about statistics affirmative action is relevant? Now we wait for the "50% of all crimes" post, right?

there's like 9 million users here, you shouldn't be upset if some things get repeated. would you get angry at your your supermarket for stocking the same type of food two a row?

Do they have anything like affirmative action for white people born in China?

Dunno about white, but they do have affirmative action for the non-Han minorities of China, which are like 10% of the total population. The minorities could have more than 1 kid, have economic incentives, can get into the good universities on lower test scores, etc.

I've lived in China as a blond man. Due to the exotic look, you'll get a lot of affirmative action wink wink

[–]the_taint_tickler 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

You're making me want to visit china

Do they have anything like affirmative action for white people born in China?

Socially progressive things in china? LOL WTF. Engineering progress in china? Yes.

Based on your username, I can only assume it's because you're not purebred. Or you're dumb... again, solely based on username.

Maybe they're just a fan of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; I bet all the good lead fridge based names are taken.

I'm picturing a blond haired blue eyed black guy. Not I can't stop imagining dave Chappell in white face.

I'm blonde with green eyes so I'm even more exotic. Plus I'm technically Latina. I should have guys with guns like the rhinos do.

You are the definition of a legacy candidate for an Ivy League school.

Is that a good thing?

Very much yes. Legacies at ivy league have MUCH easier paths to acceptance.

What is "Exotic" is relative to the proportion of the thing in the region/country you live in, plus the representation of this proportion in the culture of said region/country.

[–]the_taint_tickler 1ポイント2ポイント  (1子コメント)

I'm blonde with blue eyes, I've had black people call me exotic and I'm in America.

I am also white, but slavic with brown hair... which way to the gas chamber sir?

IIRC, the Russian brethren pretty much settled the "pure Aryan blood" debate in a most direct, though barbaric, manner.

Did you know the "Aryans" as hitler believed were not blue eyed and blonde haired? They barely existed at all. And the believed population was likely dark skinned with brown eyes and hair.

I don't know, whenever white people start asking for things based on their race things seem to go bad...think we should let this one slide guys.

Yeah, you're probably right.

Or, just go to Japan and the girls will throw themselves at you. That's a pretty decent consolation prize.

But you'll never get a waifu in Japan. They may want to mess around but you'll always be the outsider gaijin unfit to join a Japanese family.

[–]TedTheGreek_Atheos 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Are you German?

http://www.schoolsoup.com/scholarship-directory/race-minority/german-descent/

If you look at the navigation bar to the left on that page you'll find scholarship of every ethnicity many of them blonde haired and blue eyed.

[–]Dareat 0

Maybe not in the world, but in a specific region.

Here's an example.

what's special about that?
