I need to clear my mind of one of my hobbies that is taking too much energy lately. Bitcoin.

Ok, so many of have been checking the news, price, developments for months even years. It's been a ride - the early 2011 bubble (I sold almost everything when it crashed) - the 2013 bubble in April, the summer of calmness and the epic $1000+ bubble of the end of 2013.

And 2014 came and went - nothing happend. 2015 is half-way and we have a problem.

The problem is simple. Too much speculation and anticipation by the in-crowd, while really - there's not so much going on. Miners are mining, devs are developing and the industry is getting more mature. But the Bitcoiners are not happy, no. They were dreaming about millions of USD of profit but if think for a while this is not sustainable, who's going to pay for it? Wallstreet? Pheesh - They're the worst of their kind, they won't make you, me or any of the people holding bitcoins rich by buying bitcoins.

Meanwhile we are tumbling over eachother because of block-sizes and other "insider" discussions that nobody gives a, pardon my Frech, fuck about. Bitcoin is not broken - just look at it, it's fine. It's a working prototype that has survived 5+ years of being in Beta. Yes, Beta, don't forget this.

Everyone needs to take a break at this.

• Miners: Keep on mining. You're doing the dirty work.
• Speculators: You won't get rich off this. It's a zero sum game and every buck you make is a buck someone else lost. Bitcoin is no longer the profit-party of 2013. Go home, you're drunk on greed.
• Butters & trolls: Keep doing what you do. Keep the discussion alive (I hang around in /r/buttcoin for a reason). Bitcoiners need to realise is that criticism actually solved the problems for 50% each, it points out the defects and problems for the community to fix.
• XT'ers - try to stay constructive. I understand the XT movement is getting kinda rogue on the project and in a way this is good. But please try not to let Bitcoin eat itself or add fuel to the fire. Yes, we get it - the blocksize sucks. But you're the guy screaming about running out of gas on a roadtrip while the meter is still at 50%. Block are not full. It's fine. Give it some time.
• Extremist Bitcoiners: You sound like trolls or parody accounts - Bitcoin is not going to take over the world or become the next currency, get real. It's ridiculous and you make me want to unsubscribe and never come back. Stop it.

Let's focus on 3 things: Stability (the code needs a lot of improvement on privacy), Awareness (What is Bitcoin?), Maturity (Bitcoin community sounds like a bunch of crazy, but decreasingly so. Let's keep this up).
