The friendly mods at /r/bestoflegaladvice are trying some new moderation rules. We appreciate any feedback on these.

The first is that we're enforcing np links for all posts and comments. np links, if you're not aware, are links that don't allow the user to comment/upvote/et cetera. This helps prevent brigading. The following URL would be accepted:

np.reddit.com/r/subreddit/post

and the following would not:

www.reddit.com/r/subreddit/post.

The second rule is for a cooling-off period before bestof posts are allowed. We will be enforcing a 12 hour gap between the posting of a thread on /r/legaladvice and its posting on /r/bestoflegaladvice . Some have complained that the quick addition of posts to /r/bestoflegaladvice is affecting the posters ability to participate in their thread. We're hoping this rule helps fix this.

Posts that are submitted before the 12-hour period has expired will be removed.
