As a bit of a sidenote ,I find it a bit strange that we consider the people that murder /abuse animals as such pieces of shit ,how they should be punished in a same way as their acts upon the creature , which is in some way understandable .

While at the same time , not in the views of the general public , in places not very close to towns and cities ( due to the smell and other factors ) , millions of pigs and cows live in torture conditions their entire fucking lives and then are slaughtered. Pigs especially are highly intelligent animals ,more than dogs and cats in fact , and also cows display high levels of emotions.

Moral questions ,how are we better than people who abuse or murder pets , when the act of consuming meat brings so much suffering on these animals? (speaking of the animal itself ,not the pain that a owner has to endure for losing the pet )

(and I'm not vegas preaching ,as I do eat meat myself)
