Ima be honest, although the comic is dorky she's not entirely off base. I've gone back to watch some old stuff and been really surprised by some jokes that would not be cool today even with me, like blatant homophobia for example.

I agree with this comic to a point. I actually was surprised at how casually racist and homophobic some movies were back then. Especially in the '80's.

However, I didn't automatically write off the movie just because something offensive happened. Let alone, an entire decade of movies. Watching a movie with something offensive doesn't mean I'm suddenly racist or homophobic because I happen to enjoy the movie.
