I have unbanned the following 4 users comments[Gareth321, electric_sandwich, tunasicle & yseneg.] which have been banned by Saydrah. I have mailed Saydrah asking for an explanation on why she has banned those 4 comments. R/Pets is a small community and it requires all the help it can get in terms of moderation and she has [and still is] been a valuable contributor to the community before the entire witch-hunt began. I feel sad that such a valuable contributor would resort to an action like this.
Edit: She has been removed as a moderator. So I would request the mob to move on to upvoting the good stories.

I was reasonably satisfied when she was demodded from one of the other sub-reddits and I disabled adblock for this site...but this is a case of here we go again with Saydrah. She cannot be trusted in a position of authority and I too will be turning adblock back on until she is demoded from all the sub-reddits.

This seems sensible. Reddit can earn money from me or Saydrah can earn money from reddit. Sounds fair to me.
On edit, responding to neoronin's request that we move on: I think Saydrah's removal as a moderator from one particular subreddit is an insufficient response here. How could anyone trust her posts anywhere after the exposure of the duplicitous means by which she spammed, let alone as a moderator? This conflict-of-interest abuse of power is pretty damning as well, obviously, but it's just one case of literally thousands: from my perspective, every single post she's ever made on this website is of questionable authenticity. How could anyone ever know which posts she's making to get people to like her, and which posts she's making out of her personal integrity? She's getting paid to participate in reddit (or at the very least getting paid while participating in reddit with her employment's knowledge). Nothing short of a site-wide ban will resolve this conflict for me.

All of Reddit needs to see she's not just spamming but also abusing her mod powers which is the more important part of this whole thing.

Also, before a decision is taken, let the community as a whole decide the future course of action on this AskReddit thread, another sub-reddit where she serves as a mod.
Last month she abused powers on r/pics - got demodded from there.
This months she abused it on r/pets - gets demodded from there.
Well, there are atleast a dozen other subreddits where she's a mod. I anticipate we will have a nice dramatic

I just installed Adblock and it won't be removed until she is demodded.
I don't generate a ton of traffic for reddit, but I'll do what I can to influence the mods to get rid of her.
This is sickening and reminds me of how utterly commericalized and bastardized reddit is becoming.

It's not so easy. I type reddit subconsciously now.
For years before, the word that I would type thoughtlessly into the address bar has changed regularly. First it was infoseek.com. Then search.com. Then ask.com and google.com. Now that most browsers have a search engine box with keyboard shortcut (ctrl+k), reddit.com has replaced them and has taken over muscle memory.
I even type it in my sleep.
I've never typed it in my sleep but I do know what you mean. Sometimes I'm meaning to type in another address and I type reddit.
But over the years the quality of discussion here has really degenerated. Which is really annoying to me because I have been trying really hard lately to be cool with people and have decent real discussions. Usually the response when I try the hardest is something like, "nice try fucktard, I'm gonna go and do your mom."
So in any case.. leaving reddit won't be as hard for me as maybe it is for you.

You are wrong, and here is why: Saydrah's name, at this point, does exactly as you say: it makes her less trustworthy. If she wants to keep spamming without moderator status, she can do so anyway simply by setting up a new account. Sure, new accounts can't post as often, but that won't hold her back for long and she almost certainly has created another that already has been around long enough to just pick up where she left off.
More importantly, while obviously there are spam filters in place to prevent the most obvious, fruitless spam, the whole premise of reddit is that we vote on content. Feel free to downvote anything made by Saydrah just because it's made by Saydrah - it will be easier if she's using the same name to do it.
Edit: I do agree with you that she should have moderator status removed on every reddit, but not regular-user-status.

For all Safari users out there: Safari AdBlocker is better than the one parent linked to. Safari AdBlocker uses the very good EasyList by default, whereas Safari AdBlock didn't seem to block anything for me by default.
Thanks for making me check out the current situation, though: I had assumed Safari still didn't have a compelling alternative to Adblock Plus.

I wrote our companies internet usage policy. I wrote it so that if something like that happens - not intentionally searching for NSFW content - that no disciplinary action will be taken. It's a pretty chilled company in all tbh; people just shrug it off and carry on.

Do you understand reddit at all? Each subreddit is created and modded by individual reddit users. reddit.com and reddit administrators who work on the site have no say in how a subreddit is ran or who moderates it. Blocking ads are hurting the wrong people, you should unsubscribe to that subreddit instead of hurting the ad revenue that helps the admins pay for the site.

There is a type of advertising where the point is just to get you to see the product and have it sit in your subconscious, I forget what it's called, like exposure advertising or something like that.
The theory is that if you see it and one day when you need something that is of the same product type, you will favor the one you have been more exposed to. In many cases they don't want/need you to click anything.

I've never really thought ads sucked enough to bother filtering. Since I want people held accountable for their actions, I went ahead and installed Adblock since it seems like a reasonable way to protest.
I'll remove the filter for reddit when this is resolved but keep it for other sites.
It's funny how reddit admins have slapped us all in the face enough to make one of the most apathetic people ever take the 2 minutes to install Adblock.

You guys are all blocking ads because you prefer not to see ads. Saydrah gives you an excuse to feel justified, or perhaps even like you are doing a good thing. But really you are just harming a free site that has on balance been very good to you, and whose advertising is, you have to admit, very low impact on your browsing.

Look, i'm not in favor of Saydrah staying a mod. I think she's abused the position, and shows no remorse for it.
However, I absolutely hate the idea of the admins dictating to subreddits telling them "here's how you have to run yourselves." Telling them that they have to demod Saydrah is just that. subreddits are supposed to be semi-independent, and it's up to them who they want to have as their mods.
So don't get mad at the admins, get mad at the individual subreddits and the mods there.

Meh. "What the fuck?" doesn't even begin to cover it for the people defending her. I've just spent the last thirty minutes arguing with a guy who says she's not abused her moderator powers for anything, and here this comes out.
Truths like this are sad to me, because they're unnecessary. I don't want this shit to be on the front page any more than any of you who don't care, but it really does bother me that despite clear evidence of the very definition of moderator abuse the only response from admins has been to allow her to remain a moderator.
Because really -- aren't moderators supposed to NOT have a conflict of interest when they make moderation decisions? Isn't this too fucking obvious to not be part of the "hey you're a moderator now" guidelines when you're appointed to be a moderator?
