/r/AsianMasculinity is not /r/TheRedPill.

I know a lot of you found us through TRP, but please understand, this space was never meant to be an Asian spinoff of the red pill. We are our own entity.

If you still are harboring hate and ill-will towards Asian women, thats fine. We understand that there's a lot out there to be angry at and there's nothing wrong with feeling anger.

But you can choose to deal with that anger unproductively.

We are focused on self-improvement. Anyone who shares that focus is welcome. If you were looking for a space just to hurl insults at your XX counterparts, go to TRP; that's (partially) what they're there for. Asian chicks are going to do what they're going to do. If you can't or don't want to detach yourself from your hate and seek right action, this sub is not for you. We're going Buddhist with this shit.

On that note, the mods are instituting a ban on the use of TRP jargon within this sub. Although it is useful for describing the state of current day sexual dynamics when used with other TRP-speakers, it only serves to create us-vs-them tension outside of that sub.

You are more than welcome to discuss ideas that you've picked up from TRP, but please use language that you would use to discuss those ideas with someone who's never heard of Reddit.

Remember, if you can't use layman's terms to describe an idea, then you don't understand it and you shouldn't be trying to discuss it in the first place. Refer to this if you're having trouble with this concept.

And although we are making this sub a more inclusive space, rest assured that the mods will still remain vigilant for any man-shaming, concern trolling, and otherwise low-quality behavior.

TL;DR: Don't use TRP jargon. Keep your standards high. Continue to be excellent.

Thanks. TRP is right about a lot of stuff, and also dead wrong about a lot of other stuff. It's too much like a cult since all criticism is written off as "concern trolling".

I feel TRP core concepts are part of self improvement which is what I thought the reason was for the birth of this sub. You don't necessarily have to adopt any of the concepts/change who you are/become bitter, but at least be aware of the social dynamics TRP ideologies have to offer. Like how one can be atheist but still understand the history of different religions.

As seen in some of the comments below, I feel some of these posters will continue to embrace BP/PB ways which will hinder self-improvement. Unfortunately, it's very hard to "unplug" but I understand the Mods point of view.

Great post! There's enough negativity out there in the wild. No need to bring it here.

Progress, in my mind, does not equate to gender domination, psychological tricks, and hatred. Frankly, it's pathetic, and the language of losers who have to resort to underhanded (i.e. secondary) tactics to obtain what should be obtained directly and honestly.

In a post I read on some forum a long time ago, someone repeated the advice given to them by their father. Never date a man who screams and flies into a rage on the road.

Let's not poison this subreddit with that TRP nonsense.

This is a great example of why we're instituting this ban on TRP jargon.

There are people like you who see "TRP" and then think:

This is not what TRP is about, but it's obviously what you think its about. Anyone who brings up TRP ideas in TRP terminology has this hurdle to overcome before anything can be discussed.

Then there are the TRP folks who describe everything to do with females in terms of alpha hamster hypergamy. They don't really understand what TRP is about either, at least not well enough to articulate it to someone biased against it.

So the end result of bringing up TRP outside of TRP is either a shouting match between two people who don't understand what TRP is about, or lurkers sitting in silent judgement while both sides' beliefs go unchallenged. Both of these outcomes are unfruitful for discussion.

Well, the good news is that TRP has its own subreddit. There's no need for it to bleed over into other areas. I may venture over there at some point, to see what it's about, but I've seen enough TRP evangelists to create the impression in my prior post.

To be clear, I personally do advocate the core tenants of TRP when it comes to sexual dynamics, but as a subreddit, I don't want this place to emulate the complaining that goes on over there.

Our point is that you can explain where you're coming from without being divisive. If you look carefully, I haven't mentioned redpill in any of my posts or in the sidebar here (other than linking to my blog). However, my username directly refers to TRP, so I'm not trying to hide my association with it on a personal level. We're just setting the tone.

Good idea. The red pill have some interesting ideas, but they mostly go for "I should be a bigger jerk" to solve their problems. Maybe for spoiled white man (who have unbelievably good position, yet they still complain, I don't get it), this is a valid solution. But for those who actually need to generate values to win with the shit hand dealt to us, that kind of mentality will hit a brick wall more often than not. However, what is TRP jargon exactly? A lot of PUA jargon (not necessarily TRP, but are often used in that sub) are actually very useful.

Hey. Those terms are actually useful. For example, what else can you call beta orbiter? One can use those term to describe a phenomenon without swallowing the whole red pill mentality.

Sure the terms are useful but we want to avoid as much hate as possible. We are a small sub and can easily get banned by Reddit Admins on their whims.
