I love biking, but I'm not getting in the middle of a busy 2-lane road if there's a sidewalk available with no shoulder like that. If the traffic wasn't as busy as that, sure maybe. And if there were pedestrians this video taught me to get off and walk, or ride at a snails pace. Hell, there's a major 2 lane highway here with a shoulder AND a bike path separated by a side median.
