Yeah. I had a 1990 Geo Prizm. After 24 years, there are a lot of scratches there and I have never driven with alcohol even in my system. So now I wonder if people think drunk driving when they see that, because usually it is starting the car at night or with frozen hands for me.

An old girlfriend bought a 1990 Geo. The key broke off in the ignition at the mall leaving us stranded there with about $5. Tow truck operator took out a drill and drilled out the lock and told us to buy a screwdriver to get the car started.

Always good times with her.

Mine looks like that, but times ten.

My car has 180k miles, has a ridiculously bulky keychain, and two kids learned how to drive in it.

Hopefully no one at my office thinks I'm a drunk driver due to the insane scratches, dings, and holes, around the key hole.

I generally think it's really barbaric and downright sadistic to wish death on someone, but what is there really to say? I know some people are alcoholics and genuinely can't control their drinking, but those people should be seeking help.

However, if you're so arrogant about your drunk driving that you post pictures on the internet bragging about it... well, maybe you should crash. And it's not too much to ask not to injure/kill anyone else in the process.

This reminds me of when I was a teen and my friend was killed in a car wreck. Some dude was driving her and another guy home from a part on the backroads. Apparently he was so drunk that a friend of his had to tell him how to work his clutch. Anyway on their way home he hit a concrete culvert adn killed my friend. She flew out the windshield and was gutted. the passenger was paralyzed for 9 months or so and the driver broke every bone in his face. The most fucked up thing was everyone was so happy that he lived. they celebrated when he beat the charges and laughed when he bragged about having more beer cans in his car than a recycling center. I have hated that fucking guy since. RIP Christy Rhodes.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know a guy who sometimes drives home after drinking and I wish I knew what to tell him to get it in his head that he is putting himself and other people in danger.

If you're in a situation where you know he is too intoxicated to drive (a real threat to himself/other drivers) and the general area he is driving in, you could always just call in a tip to the police. It could be a good wake-up call. I had to do that with my dad once and it was anonymous so he never knew it was me who called.

One of my best friends totaled his car while driving drunk a couple of years ago. He hit someone and paralyzed her from the neck down. The thing was I want surprised that it happened because, it wasn't his first time driving while shitfaced. If you tried to talk him out of driving he would become angry and sometimes violent. He would call you names if you didn't get into the car with him but, fuck that shit I wasn't gonna get killed over his stupidity.

Anyway in the year between the accident and when he got locked up a lot of his friends stopped talking to him. I was one of the few that stayed because I knew him my whole life. I've seen him break down and feel genuine remorse for what he did but, even then I couldn't feel any sympathy for him. He did something stupid and was facing the consequences. He was getting exactly what he deserved.

I don't understand what goes through these people's heads. If I drink too much I know I'm in no condition to drive. It's such a selfish and moronic thing to do. Seriously fuck this person
