There weren't many comparable scams in the history of shitcoins imo.

Kraken and the devteam basically disallowed normal participants to enter the market with their mined ETH by making 6000 confirmation required for them, meanwhile they filled the orderbooks and dumped (some) of their premined stash.

Kraken CEO's comment:

Apologies for the confusion around the 24 hours/6000 confirmations messaging. It should have been made clear that some users who have posted collateral or have otherwise established credit worthiness may have deposits credited in less time/fewer confirmations.

For the record, reduced confirmations is a feature that is available to Tier 4 bitcoin traders as well and it's not something new to ether.

If you're able to fund your account with collateral in other assets, please submit a support ticket and we'll see about getting you credited early as well.

DEFINITELY NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE: Personally, I think $2.80/0.01 XBT is low and I would not be in a rush to sell at this price. But, I do understand if you're bearish and you wanted to dump in to the bulls ahead of everyone else.

I planned to dump some on launch and got no response from support. lol.
