Lets make it better. I've been trying my damnedest to promote positive discussions, provide as much info as I can, and post links to newsworthy SA content.

It just takes more people getting involved and using the up and down arrows rather than comments to respond to trolls and bad attitudes. If you don't feed trolls, they do lose interest.

Fair point. I am so tired of the "Moving" posts, the lost dog stuff. This used to be a sub full of relevant news and content, now it reads like a craigslist board.

I hear that. Sure would be nice to be able to have a discussion about a relevant news topic without it becoming fodder for the dramanauts. At this point I don't even care. Fuck 'em if they wanna waste their time archiving a discussion about the constitutionally of a school board gag-order.

But I certainly feel like there is a chilling effect that comes with knowing somebody you are talking to could be an alt just trying to drum up drama, or that somebody else is waiting with baited breath for the perfect moment to xpost the "drama".

exactly this. I don't post much here cause I don't want to incur the absolute bat shit crazy circular logic arguments around here. But I will up/down vote THE SHIT out of posts and comments.
