This isn't the first time the fear of existential threat came to DE. This is actually the third or fourth time. Eventually, it will be us. Fool me once...and all that.

The Communists would put down purges in a very simple way. They would raid all the targets at night, and on the same date. There would be no chance for the enemies of the state to regroup and form a resistance.

I predict the major targets will all go, with TRP being next.

Then one day -- poof --- the smaller subs will go all at once.

The admins will say that Oceania was really at war with East Asia, and all will slowly be forgotten...overweight, mentally ill pansexuals will run wild.

The irony is that the new CEO said that CT would be allowed to freely exist..but would just be separated from the main site...or put in a camp, if you will...... I wonder when we are going to get our yellow Snoo badges.

First they came for Coontown, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a... Coon... Towner?

[–]CHAD_J_THUNDERCOCK 6ポイント7ポイント  (0子コメント)

Our leader initially said these people (who the majority find unpleasant) would be put into a camp and quarantined. Some thought this was unfair. Others thought it was not enough, and that we needed to completely wipe them out.

But while the majority of the public thought they were being put into a camp (including the people going there), our leader really planned to ... get rid of them permanently.

The Red Pill will happen but it won't be next. The admins and executives need more silent victories like the current one to build up their own personal confidence to ban /r/theredpill . The Red Pill is a very popular sub-reddit so they have some protection by being popular but that protection will not last long anymore. I give them six months maybe a year. If someone posts a rule breaking topic and the mods on that sub-reddit do not act fast enough to get rid of it then perhaps sooner but I doubt it.

I have a piece on that coming up. I'm aiming to get TRS to publish it, but I'll post it here as well.

What annoys me most is that everybody who wanted it banned associates /r/coontown with white supremacy and the KKK. I think the next subreddit to go is /r/KotakuInAction. Reddit is turning into a witch hunt for "filthy subs."

You're going to need thicker skin if progs who don't read sources piss you off. This week I saw a number citing stem cell research as an example of the right being anti-science. They had no idea that stem cell research can be conducted without fetal cells. This debate is decades old.

Just sitting here typing this comment I see a bit of a downvote brigade. As reactionaries this petty drama can not annoy us or we lose all credibility in seeking self-improvement as the path to political improvement.

I am not against fetal stem cells per se, but the ban motivates scientists to look for pluripotent cells without fetal tissue. That is probably better imho because if you want to help somebody with stem cells, it is better to start with their cells than a different person's because they will actually be compatible and you don't have to suppress their immune system.

KIA is too on-the-line. They might be anti-SJW, but there's no easy way to ban them. Plus, they've gotten too many submissions on the top of /r/all (especially in the recent Pao debacles) to go quietly. With all the positive press GamerGate has been getting recently, there would be literally no way for that to go well. /r/TheRedPill will definitely go before /r/KotakuInAction, but not even that will be next.

They're looking for the less justifiable subs. If they say to /r/KotakuInAction, "You're all sexist," the subscribers go "Not at all, for X Y Z reason!" If they say the same thing to /r/TheRedPill, the subscribers will go "Not at all, for C reason we're clinging to!" Meanwhile, if they say to /r/whitepride, "You're all racist," the subscribers go, "Well, yup." It's unapologetic. It'll get targeted next.

I'm not particularly scared of the quarantines, but that does seem to be the next step. Visiting the sub won't give ad revenue to reddit, yay! But at the same time - boo, they have the emails of everyone who's opting in. I highly recommend FakeMailGenerator.com for everyone, especially when it comes to verifying your Reddit account.

[–]CHAD_J_THUNDERCOCK 6ポイント7ポイント  (7子コメント)

My money is on /r/whitepride going.

They really have quarantined anything that might be slightly offensive. For example: they quarantined /r/blackfathers , which was an empty subreddit, because people might get offended when they went and saw ‘there seems to be nothing here’

Whitepride's already dead

r/whiterights is still up. I should probably not say anything, to remind them it exists.

r / kiketown is also up, but it's quarantined. All this is just a question of time, cue Cthulhu swimming.

I doubt it's the next to go. TRP would be my next guess. Large enough and reviled enough. KIA is mocked more than hated. It doesn't trigger people like TRP does.

I can see that because women are part of the same "underprivileged" groups that African Americans are in. I guess targeting a group of people much like FatPeopleHate did, generates the most media attention, which is, in my opinion, the reason subreddits such as these are banned.

The Left doesn't debate. The Left censors. It is not enough that they not read some content that offends the Bolshevik bigots. In their hivemind, no one should be allowed to read it. Imagine a world where all "racism" was treated equally and banned. Clearly, if as exemplified by this Progressive purge, some racism is judged more equal than other racism.

SJWs mad a list recently pointing to all the accounts which used anti-prog subs. redpill, coontown, and a few others. No one made that list for commenting on this sub. Including the mods. For now we are under the radar. As long as we follow rule 2 on the sidebar, I think we will be alright. I would bet any money on that though.

I saw that list and I am sure I'm on it. I still feel nothing about it. I'm all for people questioning or challenging my beliefs and experiences. It's the people who won't accept them who are dangerous. A closed mind is it's own destruction. I don't need widespread popularity at the cost of my integrity.

The only point I was trying to make is that the SJWs seemed not to have noticed this sub. They didn't feel it warranted putting people on the list. In other words, they don't seem to be considering us a worthwhile target, at least not yet.

I got in an argument with an "I can't even" in one of the main subs.

She called me out for posting on TRP and DE..."a bunch of racist, elitist, fascist nerds." DE is low-key, but we aren't flying around in a stealth bomber either.

Perhaps a better term is "not yet perceived as a substantial threat." I agree that the banning of /r/coontown brings us one step closer to this place getting banned. Hopefully the rule against low class comments will prevent that, but ya that is 50/50 at best. If /r/theredpill gets banned, we will prolly be out that same day.

rule against low class comments will prevent that

The bans have nothing to do with low class comments. We're guaranteed to make purple haired feminists and various cucks 'uncomfortable'. That seems sufficient reason for purges to make reddit a 'safe place'.

I don't think they are even aware, but they could find something to stand against. That's the nature of reddit's style of sjw, they have to chip away until this place becomes tumblr2. A place where they don't have to think and are lauded for antisocial behavior in the guise of a (intentionally undefined) greater good. Aka girl logic.

I had a premonition last night that this would happen. It became too big too quick. The bad press swelled the subscriber count too high.

I read an old coontown post last night while looking for something in my post history that brought a smile:

A black man posted about how he had come to see many of the things discussed, and was sick of it. He was going to a top-tier college and was obviously going to be successful, but he said he didn't want to have kids because he feared they would turn into thugs.

The response was overwhelming. Of course you had a few edgy comments, but the top responses were words of encouragement.

"IQ is inherited, I'm sure your children will turn out just fine"

"Be the change you hope to see"

"No hate from me, keep working hard. Don't give up hope yet."

RIP coontown, you hateful bastards :')

The bad press swelled the subscriber count too high.

It was organic, too - I only occasionally visited, but it seemed to me that 3, 4 times each day someone new would de-cloak, tell their story, agree that they hated blacks, and get out. I want to be careful of making explanations that flatter 'my side', but I really wouldn't be surprised if it was the success as you say, perhaps even a dangerous, growing solidarity against blacks that did it. It was more than just an ugly, few kooks' corner, it was pulling in the mainstream, hardening attitudes - people often expressed relief at being able to speak their 'prejudice' and feelings and get support. The subscriber numbers aren't the whole story, there were lots of lurkers.

    edit: here's spez' least-vague explanation:

We didn't ban them for being racist. We banned them because we have to spend a disproportionate amount of time dealing with them. If we want to improve Reddit, we need more people, but CT's existence and popularity has also made recruiting here more difficult.

I doubt ct was making trouble - they were very cautious - probably reddit just got internal and external complaints. Plus the employment thing. Well, muslims beat Charlie Hebdo, too. C'est la vie.

edit2: /user/spez for details. He says or implies they were, though I still find it hard to believe. One good thing, he says he's going to look into the people making that list of us baddies - someone pointed him to it.

    there were lots of lurkers

Yup, I never posted, but have visited a few times to get a feel for the mood.

I really wouldn't be surprised if it was the success as you say, perhaps even an dangerous, growing solidarity against blacks that did it.

I'm pretty certain that was it. So our growth here is working against us.

As an avid TRP reader, (also RedpillWomen). We are prepared brothers. Join us, learn TRP. WE're all aware of our impending doom, I recommend you guys back up all your top posts, set up a mailing list and get everyone to sign up, then set up a forum to go to once this place gets shut down.

If they nuke /r/theredpill they will also have to nuke /r/thebluepill, /r/purplepilldebate, and /r/redpillwomen and probabky a few others. I just don't see that happening.
