What is this subreddit? This subreddit is a place to both mock and refute the ideas of subreddits that exist solely to propagate bigotry towards a certain race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and the like. A fuller definition of both hate subreddits and our purpose, as well as a list of notable hate groups on Reddit, can be found here. More information about our purpose can be found in our FAQ. Troll subreddits and subreddits whose purpose is not explicit hatred will not be considered hate subreddits and links to both will be removed.
What if I'm banned? Modmail us if you're banned and you believe the ban was unjustified. Please do remember that hurling slurs at the moderators will not improve your chances of getting unbanned.
What if I'm from a hate subreddit? People from hate subreddits can post here, but there are enforced limitations on what you are allowed do in such a case. See here for more information.

Follow the Reddit rules, NP links We enforce the global Reddit rules here in AHS; any doxxing or spamming in particular will be met with immediate ban. Given that brigading is against the rules of Reddit, we enforce NP for all links to other places on Reddit. Non-NP Reddit links will be automatically removed. To NP a link, simply change the "www" to "np" (http://www.reddit.com to http://np.reddit.com) It goes without saying that calls to violence will not be tolerated.
No slurs Racial, ethnic, religious, transphobic, homophobic, misogynist, and other slurs will not be accepted - because we automatically remove them, we recommend that you avoid direct quoting of slurs. Depending on the context and severity, users throwing around slurs will be met with a ban or a warning.
No deleting comments Seriously. It's embarrassing to lose an argument, but deleting comments serves nothing but giving you a free one-way ticket to being banned indefinitely.

Hello. I am a user on the site www.reddit.com, where you put ads on. I would like you to know where your advertisement money on the site is going.
Recently, reddit announced a content policy change involving several Racist, Homophobic, Sexist etc "subreddits", aka community forums hosted on reddit.
The content policy change made the racist subreddits ad-free, and so the ad money from the rest of reddit goes to them.
A subreddit in question, www.reddit.com/r/coontown, actively advocates black genocide and belives that whites are the master race. They are getting money from the rest of reddit, including advertisers like you, allowing them to continue to spew hate speech
Thank you for reading this, and i urge you to reconisder your decision to put ads on reddit.

Any sub with an ethnic slur in its name should go. No-brainer. Any sub with "hate" and a human group name in its sub name should go. There are lots of gray areas, but I don't think these are two of them.

Right. Regardless of whether it's correct or not it just doesn't sound very good or professional. Also no offense, happens to the best of us.
It's come to my attention that you advertise with reddit and I am wondering what specific parts of reddit receive your money.
Or something of the sort.

Agreed, professional sounding is best. I was thinking of something like 'wherein you spend your advertising dollars', but that might sound too formal, or it may want a different word altogether.

If you do decide to use this template, i'd suggest altering the wording each time. Companies will often ignore multiple emails that obviously appear to come straight from a template. Dig out a thesaurus, make some adjustments and fire away.

    Isn't Reddit's plan already to not show ads on coontown et al because they don't want to profit from it?
    Shitty plan because it basically constitutes a "fuckwad subsidy" so really it would be more productive to continue pushing admins to outright ban coontown.

    So wait, Coontown's mods are getting paid? Or have their own ads (not allowed AFAIK)? I don't get it. I just know the Reddit plan of not showing ads on hate subs is idiotic (and does make them a money loser, since Reddit is using resources on them for no benefit).

    You should also add in that the Southern Poverty Law Centre says that reddit is now hosting the single most active hate site in the world and allows for extremes that even stormfront does not. Within the year, reddit's hate subs will likely surpass stormfront in page views as well, making it the largest white nationalist site on the internet.
