I miss having "little-kid-my-body's-really-light" strength. I used to be able to shimmy up a fireman's pole like nobody's business, now I get winded just using my handle bar that helps me to lift myself up off the toilet.

Remember how quickly you could accelerate into a full sprint? That was nice too.

Yea I remember being able to run and jump like a black guy. Then my body realised it was white and got me a job instead.

lol, dude...

Imagine jumping onto a slip and slide at 35 (shudder).

I plan to get my kid a slip n slide when he's older, you better believe I'm playing with it too. The run and jump seems like it's going to be painful though so I'm sure I'll just be flopping and scooting... and probably put it on a hill.

[–]Poonchow [

It's not the pain or recovery that really gets you when you get older, but the possibility of ruining your joints. You're less active, the muscles and tendons don't really work the way you're used to when you're younger, so going from 0-100% is extremely risky. If you stay active, then you might have a better chance, but those injuries are cumulative and an active childhood often means problems later on.

Your body must be very well unattended.

I'm somewhat fit, actually. BUT I've experienced broken ribs before. No bueno.

Casual racism. Wonder if reddit will upvote or downvote.

Is it really racism, though? More like making light of a stereotype, which comedians do for a living.

[–]guesses_gender_bot [スコア非表示]  (3子コメント)

Idk but there's your "Mr meta-holier-than-thou" comment right on time

[–]Flowah [

"I'm not an idiot unfunny racist" is holier than thou these days I guess.

I dk about yall, but that was hilarious.

You're right, I've never seen a joke on reddit about how black people don't work....or are fatherless....or are in prison.

Upvoted. If it's casual it's accepted.

Funny how all the black jokes just never get old on reddit. Constantly upvoted for saying a joke about black people being criminals, jobless or fatherless. Then it's funny when a riot breaks out in the black community, out comes all these negative comments about black people.

Yeah, if it's casual racism then it's perfectly fine because reddit has proved to be a champion of black civil rights issues and culture.

Im in a cast up to my knee for 8 weeks because I tore my achilles tendon playing whiffle ball against a bunch of drunk old men.

That I can still do with ease, it's the slowing down or stopping portion that's a pain in the ass. I enjoyed the gif though. It reminded me of when my girls were in tap, and I'd attempt to work routines with them. They would try hard not to make me look bad, but I never got it quite right.

I go to a rock climbing gym and you wouldn't believe the shit some of those <12 year old kids can do. They're like little spider[wo]men

I used to be able to climb a rope without my legs. I tried it again at 34. Fuck that.

Definitely some little kid lightness involved here, but that girl is talented. When you're hanging from a bar, just keeping your body still is hard. Moving your legs around without letting your arms and torso move is really hard. Takes some serious shoulder and core strength just to counteract all the swinging that wants to happen.

notice how her elbows aren't at a 90 degree angle, this take a lot of stress/effort off of doing the same movements with her legs

[–]Issvera [

I used to be really good at rock climbing but now my boobs are too big and I can't get close enough to the wall.

I was one of the chubby kids :/ I had no idea "little-kid-my-body's-really-light" was a thing.

Kids have an insane power-to-weight ratio

Has anyone /r/theydidthemath on what a little kid strength person would be at the same height as a full grown adult? Would they be stronger/weaker/normal?

That kid is just hanging there, and her feet aren't that elevated.

Dilligaf? Did you ever own a Camaro... Well two I think actually... But specifically a blue one?

In thirteen years she'll be the first to take down Rhonda Rousey.

I think by then it'll just be considered assault.

I can do this. Well, not the whole perfect coordinated rhythm of dance, or the incredibly impressive expression of core and upper body strength. But, that hanging part at the beginning. I could do that part. At least for 6..maybe 7 seconds.

"How I'd love, love, love

She can hang onto the pull-up bar for longer than I can stand before sitting down...

Next on Maury Povich, dads who won't put their shirt on.

Should be noted that he's not just hanging, he's actually doing half a chin up right there.

[–]Swagu_Like_Caillou 6ポイント7ポイント  (0子コメント)

Be careful to not let this whole dancing on a pole thing become a career goal for the little one.

She makes it look easier than him.

Great way to spend time with your kid

Her arms aren't even flexed.

I was listening to Jackson 5's ABC, and it matched in a very creepy way. Also, I wish I had even a fraction of that arm strength.

What does the [h] mean? Why does so many comments not have any upvotes/downvotes

Edit: I can see them now. Was it just a glitch with Alienblue?

Well, that little girl just put me to shame with her physical prowess.

Damn, he could be my daddy.

Am I only the only one concerned if she lost her grip, that would be a long fall for her?
