It's basically all the negative aspects on reddit put into one site. The atmosphere of the site is really negative, and the hivemind badically runs the website.

No. The term started out as a positive thing. Martin Luther King Jr. was a warrior for social justice.

I didn't say that.

All the way back in 1969, a biography on MLK was published, titled "Martin Luther King: The Peaceful Warrior" that talks about his fight for social justice.

That was just the first hit I got on a book search for titles from the 20th century.

No, I'm a master in saying what I mean. I didn't claim MLK referred to himself as such. You put words into my mouth. That is not what goal post shifting means. Goal post shifting is when I make an ultimatum claim "all you have to do this and you win", you then, satisfy my challenge, and then I ignore it and make another claim.

People referred to MLK as a warrior for social justice. When they did so, it was intended as a positive thing. It was not intended as a pejorative. Therefore, the term did not always have the same connotation.

If you're not claiming MLK called himself an SJW then why claim otherwise, as that was the term originally pointed out?

It's also too early to say what it is.

I think you've shaped your opinion of it before it's totally found what it is. Revisit it in like a year.

EDIT: I'm personally for it in that I hope it turns into something good.

Right now I have no real opinion on it, other than "It has potential"
