Once again /u/FleetSevens is COMPLETELY OBSESSED with two men having sex. He can't go five minutes without using those smug little quotes around "marriage".

He's young, he's inept, he's smug as fuck, he's quite literally deaf to any reasonable arguments...I have no idea why he's not a mod yet.

Jesus Christ, no he didn't! It's like they have no idea what Nixon actually did that he resigned over. It wasn't some policy failure, mishap, or one of his staffers doing something dumb. He ordered his staff to break the law, used his executive power to cover it up, lied about it, and then when finally confronted he said "the president is above the law".

The IRS targeting was a dumb decision by the department. Benghazi was a tragedy. Project Gunrunner was a bad idea and shouldn't have been extended. But there's literally zero evidence that Obama broke the law or used the power of the office to cover anything up.

Project Gunrunner: ATF project started in 2005 to prevent guns from illegally crossing the border and being sold to Mexican drug cartels.

Operation Wide Receiver: A joint US/Mexico Project Gunrunner operation from 2006-2007 with the goal of monitoring guns on both sides of the border as they cross to identify and shutdown gun smuggling operations. The project was ended when too many guns were lost due to ineffective coordination between the ATF and Mexican authorities.
Operation Fast and Furious: A US-only Project Gunrunner operation with no coordination with Mexico from 2009-2011. It started as an ATF operation and was then changed to a joint ATF, FBI, DEA, and the ICE operation ran by the Justice Department. Thousands of guns were allowed to cross the border with no attempt to continue to monitor them and no contact with Mexican authorities. The illegal guns were used in hundreds of murders including the death of an American border patrol agent.
