The real problem is the shaming part. Like yeah, some guys are short and it's 100% acceptable to not be into them because of that, but flaunting your preference on that or worse, straight up telling someone they're too short is rude. It's never happened to me yet at somewhere between 5'9-10 but it depresses me that it is a reality for so many guys.

It's weird, I'm 5 9 too and its like, I dont' get the shame of the shorties, but I definately don't get the praise of the tallies,

So lack of praise is almost as bad as getting the shame.

It's the most odd thing ever. I've had girls talk about a guy being too short and he's like 2 inches shorter than me, and no think it awkward cuz I'm not short, but I'm not tall? I just am?

I've thought this for a long time, 5'9 is a very unique height IMO. I feel like below 5'8" is about the boundary for being short, and like 5'11" or above is enough to be considered tall. 5'9" is just chilling there in the middle, unsure of whether or not to consider himself short or more like average.

Not really. Fuck em. I'm 5'10 and am turned off by girls who specifically say "tall dudes 6'+". I mean, that's their choice and preference just as I have a preference but their personality that throws that out there immediately in the way they do it is a turn off.

Not trying to be a dick, but I don't understand how this is supposed to describe them "not really getting away with it." The result of that shallow and shitty attitude? Now someone that isn't a "tall dude 6'+" is going to leave them alone. Isn't that exactly what they were trying to achieve?
