Looks pretty good. Except bitaddress.org only has one "t" either a spelling mistake or a phishing attempt ;)

Download bitaddress only from github never the live site, you can also take the extra steps to verify the bitaddress master zip.

The "fresh" OS should be a linux distro live cd. Don't use one that specifically advertises itself for bitcoin.

When loading the live cd, disconnect all harddrives, and storage mediums to prevent any writing.

Generate addresses with BIP 38 passphrase protected private key.

Print at least two copies to store in different locations in the event of disaster (ie fire) you can still recover your cold storage. To keep privacy when storing in a second location it's possible to remove the public address from the wallet. The public address easily gets derived from the private key once decrypted.

My criticism of that plan is the idea that you could see that bitcoin is unsafe for use without doing that and still think bitcoin was worth buying or something with a future instead of stinky garbage that is a total failure as currency.
