Why can mods abuse, be intolerant, oppress, act like tyrants and dictators and get away with it? (self.Oppression)

I just asked a mod of a subreddit if my website was banned on the subreddit. I used normal humane language.

What I got in response was a bit surprising especially coming from people who hold a position where they need to be more normal than normal and act justly without abusive language.

How and why they can get away with this kind of behavior? I am saying this because if all of them respond in such immature and abusive way it means they have no check on them or no fear of being accountable for their actions.

As long as people report them with evidence to subs like /r/Oppression and /r/Undelete, they never truely get away with it. One day their record of serial abuse will all catch up with them.

Anything within the rules of reddit . However, we tend to like the idea of mod teams being abusive as per your post here. So a good post has less focus on individuals or anything too witchhunty. Best to focus on the behavior .

Also, does it mean I can post about the abuse in a very general way and must not identify who did it? Not show their abusive comments or usernames etc?

You might also want to follow reddit's rules about spam and self-promotion, thus denying these super-evil powermods the ammunition to attack you.

Thanks but it's not easy to stop someone from being "super-evil" even when rules are followed because people tend to be subjective and interpret the same rules differently.

Also, even if a rule is broken first time then that should not give the license to mods to become abusive.

I guess eberkneezer rightly said that such behavior should be reported and "One day their record of serial abuse will all catch up with them. "

We don't have rules. I am just saying the better posts tend to focus on the behavior.

So there is no strict need to hide usernames from the evidence.

However, I think a title that says "/r/ASubreddit moderators are abusing and censoring because... " is better than calling out individual moderators by their username and being hateful. e.g. "/u/agentPao is a censoring bastard " is too emotional and does not focus on the evidence.
