Just to play devils advocate for a moment, people know for a fact that the lion wasn't doing shit. A big argument in black people shootings is that they were doing something, but obviously a lion isn't gong to be threatening a poacher with a gun, or robbing a store, ya know?

The killing of black men that gets the attention is when they aren't doing anything, the unarmed ones. No one questions killing someone who is threatening another with a gun, you've missed the point entirely.

No, I'm not missing the point. I'm saying that the common argument for these unarmed ones, are that we don't know for a fact beyond a doubt that they were unarmed, because we were not there. There is always a sliver of "what if", that can go through people's minds, and some people will take that sliver and expand on it, maybe because they're prejudiced, maybe their paranoid, I dunno. The lion, we know for a fact doesn't have a gun.

We do know for a fact. No PD involved in the execution or investigation of the Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, or Eric Garner homicides ever even pretended for a single second that any of them were armed. They weren't fucking armed, because if they were the Ferguson and Cleveland and Dade county police departments would have made sure that their guns made the front pages. They didn't. There weren't any guns. They were unarmed.
