Well, I know heart attack symptoms, for instance, are very different in women, and that the most publicized symptoms are the ones more common for men. So maybe it's focusing on the differences? I have no idea.

I think it's more 'Take a stand against (women + heart disease)' Like, heart disease and women as a whole topic.

So, really it's misandristic in that it only wants to focus on curing the one gender. But it could also be misogynistic in that it's trying to put emphasis on one gender being weaker / needing more help. Or it can be misgynistic because of the literal translation.

Gender politics is fun. But really, how hard is it to just say 'Let's take a stand against heart disease'. Don't make a mess of it.

As others have said in the thread, if heart disease in women may be under-studied, and/or information campaigns may only education people about symptoms that men experience (if they are different in women), or there could be a host of other reasons. If you see misandry in stuff like this, you may be looking a bit too hard for it.

In past decades almost all medical research used male subjects. Doctors generally figured, well, hearts are hearts. Gradually they started to allow women to be subjects and they found heart disease in women actually has different symptoms and responds to different treatments. So there was kind of this huge "oh shit" moment since heart disease is one of the top diseases that kill women and it turned out that we didn't know anything about it.
