日本で新国立競技場について計画が白紙に戻されて責任が誰にあるかわかりづらくなってるし、立ち退き問題もあるが、五輪招致そのものをやめようという意見はまるで盛り上がってない。

日本では東京五輪招致への反対運動は石原都知事の時代には存在したようだが、結局、石原慎太郎個人への感情的批判に終始していたようで、東京の都知事が猪瀬、舛添と交代したら招致反対運動もどこかへ消えてしまった。
