                Not gonna lie as a black girl on Tinder it sucks coming up on dudes profiles that explicitly say "no black girls" or things along those lines. Obviously everyone has the right to their opinion, but it sucks to know there more than a few people who quite literally write off ever being attracted to anyone in your entire race, like literally not one of the millions that exist. Kinda crazy to me when I put in that perspective.                     To be fair, as a white female who had OK Cupid once upon a time, I think I would have come across as pretty racist if someone analyzed my response rates. The main reason I didn't reply to a lot of Asian men (from East or South Asia) as well as men in the Middle East was because they were being ridiculous. Like 80% of messages to me were from men STILL IN their countries super fucking far away from me. So when I get a message like "hey, baby ;)" from some dude in India... no I'm not fucking responding. And yes, most of those messages were like that or more graphic or socially retarded like "you can be my friend?"

                    So I do recognize that the bias is there in the online dating world, but from my experience, a lot of numbers are being skewed by men from overseas mass sending out messages.

                                      I'll give you my perspective.

                                      I'm a white guy, 6'3, 190lbs and pretty muscular. I do pretty well with the ladies and have had to face this before.

                                      To be honest, I'm not attracted to black girls, or asian girls, or anyone who isn't really caucasian. I can easily tell between good looking black girls and bad looking ones (same way I can tell between good looking and bad looking dudes) but I'm not attracted to even the 10/10 ones (same way I'm not attracted to 10/10 dudes, cause you know, I'm straight.)

                                      I'm not racist, it's just biology. I don't hate black people or black girls, I have lots of really good friends that are black but I simply, biologically, am not attracted to any of them. Not even the black models you see on TV or magazines, so it's pretty safe to say that there isn't a single black girl in the world who I'd be attracted too.

                                      I don't think this makes me racist or prejudice in any way, but the few times I've mentioned this too people I've been called bigoted and rude.

                                      Many people (especially white guys) share this opinion but ya I agree while putting it in your tinder status is not okay, not being attracted to an entire segment of the population doesn't make you a racist.

                                      Personally, I am attracted to a very, very, very small minority of black girls. So if I were to end up single again and find myself using a dating service, I would be better off just saying "no black girls" because it saves everyone time.                                       It's not necessary, I personally as a minority went on tinder in California when I was in town expecting none of the white men I swiped right for to swipe back and was pleasantly surprised! When I was swiping I'd tell myself that these guys are not going to be into my exotic look, and if they would have advertised that would've been a bummer, but taking the chance was the cool part if that makes sense.
