First guy- this guy is very intelligent, likes zombie comics, films and TV shows and knows the lyrics of entire albums. However, he never cared much about school so he's a car washer. He used to get laid in high school but now works at a job where there are no women and doesn't have the time to go out much so he's been incel for over three years.

Second guy - this person is a religious nut but a very kind person otherwise. He is quite conservative, in that he hates gays, feels sorry for atheists etc. He's still a virgin at 24 but due to his own choice, as he rejected a girl he was with when she wanted to sleep with him, saying he doesn't like her. He's almost asexual, doesn't care about women much, just religion.

Third guy - this guy is kind of a doofus. We don't respect him all that much. He's one of those idiots who aren't volcel but don't care about incel much either because they think that "the right person will come along". I therefore refuse to even call him an incel.

There are also two couples in my social group, all very nice people. One couple is getting married soon... That oughta be interesting lol

I also hang out with a number of other people too, of various socioeconomic backgrounds, but not as often as with those people.

What do we do? As we're getting older we're more and more inclined to spend the night at somebody' house and watch a film/listen to music/talk.

So, from what I've gathered, you would like the Government to set up a program of sorts in which they offer money to women to go on dates with incel men, as sort of a Government controlled "dating program"

My question is, since these kinds of things pretty much already exist in the forms of dating sites and the sort, what about a Government-controlled program do you feel would be better than say, a regular dating program or site?

Well, dating sites don't pay women to go on dates, don't guarantee dates, tend to have a lot of picky women etc. The differences are vast.

A dating agency is a bit closer to what I'm proposing but also doesn't pay women or do screening before the person becomes a part of the program.

It speaks volumes about the nature of those who have nothing better to do in life than to taunt the mentally ill. :(

Whatever mod or mods made the decision to feature this ill young man are contributing to the eventual decline of this subreddit. /r/SRS couldn't have done a better job at it. It's one thing to poke fun at the crazies from a distance - it's entirely another to invite them here and then taunt them. That's just sick :( .

Your most recent post is very anti-psychotherapy. I would like for you to expand/clarify a bit more on this stance. Let's assume that your program is implemented, do you believe that incel should still be treated as a psychological problem (I'm sorry if that is not the right word) for those who want it? Should we ever consider the possibility that men living with incel do need psychotherapy? You propose programs to help men and women deal with incel–what exactly do you think these should look like? Would not those include some degree of traditional therapy?

I may not agree with your ideas, but I do find them fascinating.

I don't think incel should be treated as a psychological problem because it is not. Incel is a situation.

My programs aren't about therapy but if men and women living with incel feel they need psychotherapy they should get it.

          What I oppose is

          1. Seeing therapy as a solution to most incel cases when it surely not

          2. Seeing therapy as a tool for you to make peace with incel- no normal person makes peace with incel. Especially in their younger age.

Thanks for your response. Can you expand more on this?

Seeing therapy as a solution to most incel cases when it surely not

I think what I'm getting at here is that confidence is often cited as the most desirable trait in a romantic partner (or, certainly top three). Very often, lack of confidence stems from ideas and experiences that can be managed with psychotherapy.

You say that "incel is a situation." Forgive the analogy, but how do you respond to the criticism that your program treats the symptoms and not the disease, so to speak?

This all sound very nice on paper/screen but romantic attraction requires a specific kind of confidence only experience can create.

Incel is usually caused by complex factors that therapy often can't help with or factors that have nothing to do with your psychology, like height or looks.

The point is, incel is a self-perpetuating problem because it creates inexperience and despair. And it should, because no normal person can bear incel for a long time. That's why it is necessary to remove it.

If this is the case, how do you explain all the people who lost their virginity and found partners in their mid-20's or older without any sort of confidence-boosting programs? How do people develop that confidence in the first place? If it can't develop without experience, but you can't get experience without the confidence to try, shouldn't everyone be in a perpetual cycle like you were?

When you talk about "noncel normative" behavior, and how incel made you do violent things after only a few years, why are you one of the few people exhibiting this behavior? Why do most people with similar circumstances not beat their parents up or threaten murder/suicide against women who rejected them?

Knowing that you're in the minority of incels who do the things you do, is it safe to say that you have extreme underlying psychological issues and that being incel is just a scapegoat to blame your much larger problems on?

And no, you can't cop out of this question by saying these people weren't incel for as long as you because everyone knows at least a few people who have been incel for as long, if not longer than you, and who don't take their pain to the extremes that you do. The fact that they don't is normally what relieves them of being incel, because they aren't scaring women off. They are not "noncel normative," they experience the pain of being single and alone when they want to be in relationships for years and years, but they don't act out aggressively because they don't see themselves as victims, and therefore do not try to justify punishing people for their misfortune.

Is it possible that your victim complex is what is retarding your progress?

Such people are rare. In most cases of incels I've seen they were fucked after turning 18 with no experience.

How do people develop that confidence in the first place? Most people develop that confidence during their teenage years through socialization and being attractive.

If it can't develop without experience, but you can't get experience without the confidence to try, shouldn't everyone be in a perpetual cycle like you were?

What you're describing seems like love-shyness. Why would everybody have it?

Why do most people with similar circumstances not beat their parents up or threaten murder/suicide against women who rejected them?

Incels feel different levels of pain react to pain in different ways. I am one of those incels who is really suffering. But I'm not the only one because many have tried to off themselves or had violent fantasies. I am not that far away from them.

Also, you're lying that I've threatened her. How could I threaten her if she never saw it at all? Only people who saw it that way were the idiotic cops. No judge did. Also, rejected me? When did I say she rejected me? Did I ever explained what happened? I don't think so. The story is much, much more complex than that. I will write about it on the blog one day. You will be amazed at how complex it is.

Knowing that you're in the minority of incels who do the things you do, is it safe to say that you have extreme underlying psychological issues and that being incel is just a scapegoat to blame your much larger problems on?

Of course not. I told you many incels do similar things. Also, if this were true therapy would be able to help me. Despite me coming regularly and listening to all my therapists, as well as me taking meds, it never did anything at all. Why? Because you can't treat fever if you don't treat the leukemia.

And no, you can't cop out of this question by saying these people weren't incel for as long as you because everyone knows at least a few people who have been incel for as long, if not longer than you, and who don't take their pain to the extremes that you do.

I'm not trying to cop out. I am one of those incels who are in extreme pain and not all are like that.

Effects of incel can range from bloody massacres of dozens of people to a mere dysphoria/grumpiness. All that is normal. Coming to terms with incel is what is not.

The fact that they don't is normally what relieves them of being incel, because they aren't scaring women off.

Hahaha. You have no idea. Many incels who never exhibited my behavior still have much, much less experience than me. There are loads of guys on incel communities who have never done a fucking thing in their lives but have yet to experience their first kiss.

They are not "noncel normative," they experience the pain of being single and alone when they want to be in relationships for years and years, but they don't act out aggressively because they don't see themselves as victims, and therefore do not try to justify punishing people for their misfortune.

You don't have to act aggressively because you see yourself as a victim. Sometimes mere frustration is enough.

You don't have to kill people because you want to punish them. It could also be done out of frustration, a desire to make a message or other reasons.

Such people are rare. In most cases of incels I've seen they were fucked after turning 18 with no experience.

Your experience is very obviously limited. It's probably because you seek out people who confirm your biases on incel forums rather than listen to the experiences of everyday people. Of course if you spend most of your time discussing this on a love shy forum it will seem that anyone who didn't have their first romantic encounter by age 18 is doomed, but you're excluding the experiences of the majority of the world in favor of a very small group of people.

What you're describing seems like love-shyness. Why would everybody have it?

Why wouldn't everyone have it? You hinge whether or not someone remains incel on their lack of experience but everyone starts off with no experience.

Incels feel different levels of pain react to pain in different ways.

I know you think you're very special but I can guarantee you that everyone feels immense pain when they're lonely and rejected. You're trying very hard to consider yourself a special case but you're just a narcissist. How can you speak for everyone else, that nobody feels the type of pain you feel, when you have never been another person? You're making assumptions based on your own inflated ego and lack of empathy.

How could I threaten her if she never saw it at all?

It doesn't matter if she saw it, the intent was there. If someone poisoned your food but another person stopped you from eating it, the person who poisoned your food still committed a crime, still had intent to kill, is still legally responsible.

Also, if this were true therapy would be able to help me. Despite me coming regularly and listening to all my therapists, as well as me taking meds, it never did anything at all.

You don't go to traditional therapy. Based on your own admission, you see a Psychiatrist for 15 minutes at a time who prescribes you meds. This is not therapy. Therapy involves regular hour long sessions of talking and getting to the root of your problems. You also have to be open to the idea that you are not always right in order for therapy to have any effect and you are unwilling to do that. Medication can only do so much, and only if it is the right medication. You often have to test out many different medications to get to the right one. Then when you start seeing positive effects from the medication, talking in depth about your problems with a Psychologist one or more times per week can help you sort things out. You're not currently being treated in a way that would be effective.

I am one of those incels who are in extreme pain and not all are like that.

If not all are like that, it can't be incel that is the cause. If it was, many more people would be acting the way you act. Again, you have extreme psychological issues and incel is just the stressor.

Effects of incel can range from bloody massacres of dozens of people to a mere dysphoria/grumpiness. All that is normal. Coming to terms with incel is what is not.

Wrong, so wrong. Murdering people is not normal. Unless someone is physically trying to kill you, murder is not a reaction. Murder is a choice made by horrible people and there is never an excuse for it. If you choose to hurt or kill someone, nobody will blame incel, they will blame you.

You don't see how "making a message of someone" is selfish and completely wrong? You are actually ending a person's life, but that's ok because you couldn't find a girlfriend? This is the type of baseless justification of crime that would make a government program never put you alone with a woman they hired to date incels. Never. Because if you can justify murder due to "frustration" what can you justify doing to her if she rejects you?

Intent to commit a crime is a punishable offense by law. Have you not heard of attempted murder?

You threatened a murder/suicide. You can argue 'til you're blue in the face that she never saw it and that you didn't use her name but you still did it. It was troubling enough to get you arrested. Whether or not you were convicted is irrelevant. It's still on the books and a government agency would not take their chances on someone who was arrested for threatening a murder/suicide. If they ignored something like that and you did it again they would be directly liable for your actions for overlooking clear warning signs.

Sure, this makes sense to me.

This all sound very nice on paper/screen but romantic attraction requires a specific kind of confidence only experience can create.

          Again, no argument here.

Incel is usually caused by complex factors that therapy often can't help with or factors that have nothing to do with your psychology, like height or looks.

The latter point makes sense to me; some people get more sex because they are more attractive. All anecdotal evidence points to these factors being distantly second to personality, but they are absolutely factors and, you're right, cannot be treated with psychotherapy.

What are the "complex factors that therapy can't often help with"? Are they so deeply-rooted and complex that your solution is the only way to address them?

By deeply-rooted and complex I mean both past factors like a lack of experience with the opposite sex in your childhood and and self perpetuating factors like inexperience with women, frustration and not being attractive to women because of those things.

lack of experience with the opposite sex in your childhood

Meaning unhealthy parental relationships? Social isolation? Or do you mean later sexual development i.e. not getting girls in high school?

self perpetuating factors like inexperience with women, frustration and not being attractive to women because of those things.

Again, I completely agree, as you mentioned earlier "romantic attraction requires a specific kind of confidence only experience can create."

I very much appreciate you taking the time to discuss this with me, but it seems like you've avoided the question. The past factors that you allude to are some of the most basic that therapy addresses and the self-perpetuating factors, while incredibly prevalent, seem very related to those of the past. Do you disagree? Do you think that the self-perpetuating factors you outline are unrelated to those past factors? Do you think that therapy relating to past factors can do nothing to break the cycle of current ones?

          Meaning unhealthy parental relationships?

I don't think unhealthy parental relationships are correlated with lack of experience with the opposite sex in your childhood much except in some extreme cases, like if a parent doesn't let their kid hang out with other kids or affects them negatively in some other way.

Social isolation? Or do you mean later sexual development i.e. not getting girls in high school?

These two are often correlated but I meant sexual development.

I very much appreciate you taking the time to discuss this with me, but it seems like you've avoided the question.

Sorry, that wasn't my intention. I'll try to reply now.

          Well, this is very complex.

What I believe is that therapy can't really change the past and those self-perpetuating factors. So, yes, I do think that therapy relating to past factors can do nothing to break the cycle of current ones. These self-perpetuating factors are caused by past factors but this doesn't mean that therapy could help with both past factors or self-perpetuating factors.

Incel needs to be defeated early, you can't allow yourself to be incel for long. The longer it lasts less chance you have of beating it.

My views are on therapy and incel. Since there isn't much research of incel issue of incel and therapy has never been researched at all.

I am simply stating what I see with incels themselves - that I have yet to see one who was helped by therapy in any way. Until there is some solid research I have the upper hand over those who claim therapy can help incels for they don't know any incels at all.

Wouldn't it be more cost efficient for the government to match incel men with incel women instead of paying others to participate?

What compensation do you think the government should provide if an incel person cannot find a suitable partner after an extended period of time in the program?

It could never work. You know how many women are really incel, in that they wouldn't reject almost anybody? Not that many, trust me.

Human beings have been overcoming what you call "love-shyness" for untold millennia. It has to do with growing older, maturing, and learning to put yourself out there a little.

Why do you think that the government should have a responsibility to do something like this when we have lots of evidence that, for nearly every human being that's ever existed, "love-shyness" is synonymous with "being immature"?

Does it bother you that, even if the government picked up your program, you wouldn't be able to participate due to your criminal history?

Wouldn't your program need to screen all participants thoroughly to avoid putting other participants in danger?

Fooling a psychologist into thinking you're sane for one session is pretty easy so they might have to do a lot more just to be safe. How deep should this screening go?

The fact that you wrote about murdering a girl and then killing yourself and got arrested for it would exclude you, and probably exclude most of the incels who you think need this program the most, because of violent rantings and becoming mentally unstable. How would your program deal with a participant being hurt, raped, or murdered by another participant if the screening missed red flags?

Furthermore, if your program was marketed to women as a way to help incels, wouldn't you be afraid that your blog and your rantings would scare women off?

Your blog by itself has soured a lot of people's opinions on the state of incel when they previously had no opinion on it because they didn't know it existed. Does it bother you that you may have single-handedly thwarted all efforts for incels to be taken seriously? Just a quick google search of what incel is would lead women to your blog and drive them away.

Although the OP says he does not believe in personality disorders, and states that therapy is not effective in treating incel, he has stated on his blog that he has been evaluated by medical professionals and diagnosed with BPD- Borderline Personality Disorder. Just in the interest of helping people understand the OP a little bit better, here are some of the signs and symptoms pulled from the NIMH website.

According to the DSM, Fourth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR), to be diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, a person must show an enduring pattern of behavior that includes at least five of the following symptoms: * Extreme reactions—including panic, depression, rage, or frantic actions—to abandonment, whether real or perceived

          • A pattern of intense and stormy relationships with family, friends, and loved ones, often veering from extreme closeness and love (idealization) to extreme dislike or anger (devaluation)

          • Distorted and unstable self-image or sense of self, which can result in sudden changes in feelings, opinions, values, or plans and goals for the future (such as school or career choices)

          • Impulsive and often dangerous behaviors, such as spending sprees, unsafe sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, and binge eating

          • Recurring suicidal behaviors or threats or self-harming behavior, such as cutting

          • Intense and highly changeable moods, with each episode lasting from a few hours to a few days

          • Chronic feelings of emptiness and/or boredom

          • Inappropriate, intense anger or problems controlling anger

          • Having stress-related paranoid thoughts or severe dissociative symptoms, such as feeling cut off from oneself, observing oneself from outside the body, or losing touch with reality.

Seemingly mundane events may trigger symptoms. For example, people with borderline personality disorder may feel angry and distressed over minor separations—such as vacations, business trips, or sudden changes of plans—from people to whom they feel close. Studies show that people with this disorder may see anger in an emotionally neutral face and have a stronger reaction to words with negative meanings than people who do not have the disorder.

              Why?

The problem is that around 80 percent of people I reply to are still TAC. There is no point in replying to them at all, yet I still do because I don't like their poison being unanswered.

However, this is not only pretty senseless but costs a lot of energy. This is why I am writing some articles now whose links I will use instead of replying to them.

I had my doubts about various people being her before. I am now certain she is involved in a pathetic and violent attempt to dox me, which will achieve nothing at all since trolls don't have my info (and would achieve nothing if they had my info anyway, as I would change it).

Radfems are monsters and I want to harm them, yes. All radfems deserve to die, for their only goal is to destroy civilization.

I'm tempted to make a tumblr account to make sure she knows that you're threatening random internet people with HER information.

If you're dumb enough to claim I am "threatening" somebody with another person's information maybe you should first put a gun to your head and pull the trigger.
