Background: The WWE terminated its contract with Hulk Hogan, apparently because he made racist remarks on a leaked sex tape that is going to be made public.
/r/SquaredCircle has a Hulk Hogan Drama Mega Thread with links to all kinds of stories about it. Also interesting for more background is this comment from /r/OutOfTheLoop if you are interested (no drama, though).
The Hulk Hogan drama is pretty delicious on its own but the SquaredCricle thread itself is also a veritable popcorn factory.
Since this is about racism, we have the obligatory racism drama, featuring Jesse Jackson, race-baiting, is the n-word racist, Eric Garner, and 'you are the real racist'.
I am a fair, decent person and I am not responsible for the crimes of people who died 100 years before I was born.
But there's also this drama about 'what was the question and what does that have to do with anything?'. Also ellipses and talking to people on the internet.
Even if that's true, again I ask, what difference does it make?
Well, you didn't originally ask what difference it makes. You asked what it had to do with anything.
This is how it ends:
You're very confused.
I sure am! I'm still talking to someone who is upset because someone asked a slightly off-topic question in a megathread! Why am I still doing it?
I don't know why they do it but as long as people keep doing it we won't run out of popcorn.
And finally this short spat about who did or did not downvote the other person.
And if that's not enough for your popcorn needs I'm sure there's loads more where this came from, the full thread has over 5000 comments!
