Okay, back to the first sentence. "American teenagers are having less sex, especially boys." How does the math on that work? I mean, if we're just talking teenagers, it doesn't mean teenaged girls could be having sex with college guys. This is strictly teenagers. This does not mean having sex with winos wearing the Peter Jennings trench coat with a sack of wine on Seventh Avenue. How does this work? How does the math of this work out?

Fewer teens are having sex now than in the 80s, but the drop has been more dramatic for boys than for girls. Gee, what could explain this?

Anyway, Dr. Brooke Bokor "says their smartphones may provide a private, comfortable space to access information." Oh, you mean like porn? Could it become we're raising voyeurs rather than participants?

American teenagers are having less sex and all of these experts are asking themselves, what are we doing wrong? Well, what have we turned boys into, in 2015? No, I'm serious, folks. Just try to answer the question as objectively as you can, when I ask this question, just imagine, think, observe all that you know and have seen. What have we turned boys into, in 2015? What are they? Well, they are a mixture of things. And they hear it all, by the way. They are either bullies or predators or brutes or they are pajama boys. Timid metrosexuals, feminists in their own minds playing now a secondary role because they have been made to feel guilty over the transgressions that men have committed previously.

Interesting to see mainstream conservatism adopting precepts of the manosphere without embracing its moniker. Is this a positive trend? Personally, I think it's more important that the public seems to be gradually accepting the truth about men in the 21st century, no matter what their source. Does this spell doom for the social justice front?

Well, step one is to make the truth available, and to subversively mention it from time to time when there isn't much risk of blowback. Maybe a comment at the checkout line, maybe an aside to the mechanic when you pick up the car or a comment to the parts clerk if you do your own work.

Back in the day, the women's libbers talked about "consciousness raising". Until they made all women (falsely) aware they were oppressed, they could do nothing. In the same way, we need to make people aware that men are (actually) oppressed in a lot of ways. I know that sounds funny, but it's actually true in family law, education, 'affirmative action' and many other areas.

The point here is to get around the majority of white knights, by waking them up to reality.

I may get downvoted for this but I don't wholeheartedly agree with the conclusion of the misandry bubble text.

In my thoughts, I feel though as if the 'bubble' will expand to a point where nearly all men are consciously aware of it, and then contract back slowly to unconsciously still applying the feminine imperatives unfair to men to some extent in the real world. Which makes me sad.

Then again I have no credibility to my guess, just gut instinct.

Explanation for teenage boys having less sexy times relative to teenage girls: more casual sex, more hypergamy, collapse of marriage, reduction of exclusive LTR's.

Last generation: 10's date 10's, 7's date 7's, people settle down and head for marriage. (Much less sex outside of marriage and LTR than today). Sure it was more messy than this, but that was sort of the expected pattern. Marrying in college or just-after wasn't unheard of like it is today.

Now: More casual sex and casual relationships => 80-20 rule => the top guys are getting laid at the expense of the betas. This is becoming more acceptable with less slut shaming, higher N-counts, etc.

Possibly also... alphas and top men are reading about game and getting good results using information unavailable 50 years ago. This makes the top 20% of men not only super attractive, but now super effective as well. Therefore even harder to tempt into marriage than before. Women of course also tempted to keep the arrangement with Non-Committal-Chad going as long as they can, now that billy-beta-pretender looks worse than ever.

(I also suspect but can't prove: older men are getting more access to younger women, at the expense of younger guys. Experience and game and looks increase men's SMV throughout their 20's. Without the traditional marriage/LTR structure, women are more likely to date/screw older men).

As regards the TV show: men being withdrawn is of course blamed on porn and men not participating, not on the low quality and high cost of women today vs yesteryear. Happily-ever-after was worth a lot of time and money. Now... maybe maybe a quick bang after some bitch is rude to you for four hours potentially leading to future divorcerape - vs - porn and internet and netflix and beers and good times with friends. Men are starting to look more rational than ever.

The misandry is such that men are being blamed for their rational choices. What happens next? I think women won't wise up (they never have, never do, never will). Or maybe cuckoldry will become the norm, as betas are even further relegated to their purpose as providers, now raising Chad's children, proudly "doing their duty", "manning up" and "being a good little feminist".

This will, ironically, breed betadom out of the population within a few generations.

Not exactly. In every generation the top 20% reproduce of course. Then the next generation of women select the top 20% of the previous top 20%. Weather you have a generation of 100% chads or not, the result will be the same. Even if every male was a perfect specimen in every way, women would adapt new standards to detach the bottom 80%. They have no choice, its their only move. Hypergamy means even if there are no betas your standing as a beta will remain in effect because hypergamy is the law.

Seriously, this is how people are thinking. I'm not the only one of my friends who said fuck it. I have classes(which will soon be work), lifting(2-3 hours a day 3 days a week), running(60-90 minutes a day 3[non-lifting] days a week), I film movies with friends, like to play a little bit of video games(2-3 hours a week), read through whats going on in the world of science, and have friends I need to see so we stay friends. I have very little extra time(at least during the school year). Why would I spend that time chasing women who are just going to shit test and act like entitled little brats? I would rather rub one out, go grab some beers, and watch netflix or youtube with friends and crack jokes. I'm fat but I got pussy pre-TRP so I doubt I couldn't get it now it's just, why would I? Lifting, running, school work, learning new things; all of that is taxing. When I have my free time I want to spend most of it actually enjoying myself not gaming some bitch who has nothing to bring to the table. Sorry, I can't agree with your enthusiasm. Rush sees the symptom but he is flailing around looking for a cause. For example, he has the chain of causality of porn backwards. If American media showed 1/50 of the blood and gore Al Jazeera showed during the first Iraq war, I doubt we would be so thirsty to send our children, brothers and fathers into the meatgrinders to "spread freedoms".

    I think they're referring to porn. The hypothesis they're putting forward is that boys have such easy access to a cornucopia of pornography that they don't bother chasing real life girls. I think that is true for a certain group of men today.
