All muslims who actually take their religion seriously hate Americans, Whether they want to admit it or not, The ones who don't simply don't know what their religion is actually about.

The red pill is correct on most things.

Downvoted for expressing a "bad, unpopular" opinion on a thread that instructs us to express "bad, unpopular opinions".

Fuck it. I'm right unless you prove me wrong. Bring it on, you pathetic white-knight geldings.

This thread has become really fucked up. So many replies I've seen are racist (or colorblind which is functionally the same thing), ableist, cacomorphobic (hatred of fat people), gerontophobic (hatred of old people), transphobic, homophobic, misogynistic, or just plan ignorant. The list goes on but I'm on mobile so fuck it.

Also this thread serves to rationalize these fucked up mindsets by pinning together like minded people. It's like that askReddit thread about rapists and the danger that presented.

Edit: This is the link. https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/xf5c2/reddit_are_you_aware_how_dangerous_the_askarapist/

Black males deserve to be profiled. At least in the inner city.

Yeah and I want fences around the inner city so they can't leak out. Because I mean how am I supposed to tell the inner city ones from the uptown or suburban ones? Somebody needs to do something about this. All I know is, I had better not have any trouble from any of them when I go to the Lakers game. Those cops better be on their profile game hard.

[–]misunderstood_corpse 436ポイント437ポイント  (347子コメント)

Women are physically and emotionally inferior to men.

It's biology, not sociology. Gender roles were created a very long time ago for the survival of our species as a whole, not for oppression or financial dominance. There are plenty of species where the the opposite is true. And just because there are outliers doesn't mean it's not true.

Edit: Jesus Christ it was supposed to be something I would never say out loud, this is exactly why I wouldn't!

By emotionally inferior, I mean that women's emotions have a significant impact on their performance in every day life. I've seen every single female employee at work leave early at least once because they were bawling their eyes out for one reason or another. Men get upset too, but only about things are very important. When it's not very important, they don't let if affect their performance. That's because Men's role in society has historically been as a provider, not a care taker. When you're in a life or death situation like hunting or fighting, an emotional breakdown is not gonna turn out well for you. When you're caring for children or cooking strong emotions aren't a death sentence, they're useful insticts. That's why men are emotionally superior.

Edit 2: In modern society where men can be caretakers and women can be breadwinners, those traits are inferior for overall performance. I think women have tons of superior qualities to men. Physical strength and emotional stability are generally not among them.

Emotionally? Men have so much emotional distance between each other that I find it pathetic and sad. It's awkward for men to even hug.

EDIT- I love hugging. I love hugging men, women, animals. My statement was a generalized observation comparing affection between men/men and women/women in western society. It is my perspective and obviously it may differ from your own.

I don't like black people.

There are very few that I have ever grown to like, but in general, I avoid them and feel scared when there are too many of them

Edit: I'm loving these "You sexist!" and "You are so misguided" comments. I want to clarify that I'm not either and I want to say that although some of you hate me for saying this (as the OP knew would happen), a majority of you clearly agree with my statement.

Same. There are just thought-patterns we have that I don't think that men could ever fathom. It really is baffling and interesting and terrifying all at once to consider the things that I think at times.

I see absolutely no pattern to which comments are upvoted and downvoted in this whole thread. What is going on here?? I completely agree with you. Female hormones are scary as shit, and I have to fight all sorts of bizarre emotional impulses because of them. I feel sorry for men who have had to endure my presence when I'm angry or feel like crying and I don't even understand what the hell I'm upset about.

I have to agree on this one. I have yet to find any exceptions. Married men just tolerate it.

You can't find a single exception, and so you're choosing to believe that 3.some odd billion people are wrong vs. 1. The good news is I found some insanity. The bad news is that it's not where you think it is.

EDIT: Why am I being downvoted? I am agreeing with the statement. I'm probably a little insane too. LOL Muhahahaha

I don't think students should be given scholarships if they study non STEM fields.

EDIT ok just to clarify, this only applies for government funded scolarships. If you can find a private company or group or church or whatever to pay for your school then awesome, go hard.

Agreed. This so much. I feel like it's a waste of money to give someone a drama degree when it could've been used for a future doctor, engineer, etc.

As an actor currently working my ass off to get into drama school, I have to dispute this. Let me ask you something? Do you like entertainment? Music, movies, theatre etc.? Let's assume you're with the vast majority of the population and your answer is yes. Imagine if the quality of all these entertainments were significantly diminished because the amount of people who can afford to work in those fields is so much smaller. The thing is, the less people fighting to make amazing art, the less variety there is and the less competition there is forcing fantastic work. It's why the quality of television dramas is currently so high - because there's so much good stuff coming out. But half of it wouldn't exist if people didn't get grants and scholarships to make it.

The point I'm alluding to is, as incredibly important as the STEM subjects are (and don't get me wrong, they are very, VERY important), what point is there in having them if, at the end of a hard day, there's no art to gain joy out of?

The fact is, the costs of becoming an actor is astronomical. I'm talking $300 for headshots once every year or 2, around $500/year for memberships to unions/casting directories, constant travel costs to auditions (imagine half your job being going to job interviews, regardless of how successful you are), often hundreds of dollars a month on acting classes (because acting needs regular training like a sport. To do it well is incredibly hard), and that's all on the minuscule guarantee that you will actually get paid work. You probably won't, so you're paying for this with.. well, any money you can scrape together. We do it not because we want to make art, but because we HAVE to. It's what we do, and to us, it's impossible to go through life without devoting ourselves to it.

So to sum up, if I spend tens of thousands of dollars on, in my case, an acting course, I HAVE to have a scholarship, funding of some type or at the very least a student based loan to survive and have the opportunity to make art, because when I come out of school I'll be trying everything to get a job in one of the most crowded, fickle industries in the world. There's no way in hell I could pay it all back without a lot of luck, meaning without scholarships the only people who could afford to do arts training are the ones with a LOT of money already, or the ones who are happy to go earn a proper living and forget about making art straight away. Otherwise it's a financially ridiculous risk. In fact, it already is let alone without scholarships. The end result? The public get diminished arts to enjoy, and I'll bet the vast majority of the things you enjoy are made by people who got a scholarship on a non-STEM based course.

Your drama degree does nothing but entertain. It is comparable to a private scholarship for athletes and such. STEM degrees literally help advance the world whether it is health, technology and etc. It also literally affects any other field out there, for example the technology used to film your movies and take your head shots to increase quality and expense.

Sounds like your career decision is not a smart one then. If the demand for actors is so low then they shouldn't get subsidized.

I would just like to clarify that I specifically mean government scolarships. If you can get funding from a private source I'm fine with that. But I don't want my tax dollars going towards your one shot in a million at an acting career. No offense but I want my money going to important things and not the next guy in a Micheal bay movie.

one shot in a million at an acting career

What about me: the guy that is currently employed as a technical writer, ensuring that the autist, utterly-incapable-of-communication engineers and developers that work here's work is actually understandable and digestible by humans?

What about my friend, who takes the hilariously terrible whiteboard and PowerPoint abortions that you STEM dudes make, and turns it into a frontend that's not only usable, but actually attractive?

Or another friend, who works as a data scientist for a research institution, who is responsible for helping other researches collect and analyze data across a wide variety of disciplines?

All three of us funded our education with Pell and other government grants. We've all paid almost the entirety of the loans back. All three of us have arts, non-STEM degrees.

Look: I'm not saying that an arts degree or whatever is any better or worse than a STEM degree, and I certainly love reading what STEM fields are producing. But to suggest that non-STEM fields don't produce anything of value is absurd. Trust me: most of us aren't actors and aren't novelists and aren't painters.

Anyway, have fun losing your job to H1B1s in the next five years.

ensuring that the autist, utterly-incapable-of-communication engineers and developers that work here's work is actually understandable and digestible by humans?

Are you sure that someone saying this is the kind of person that an audience will listen too?

Also, you should take a lesson from the STEM fields and use research and numbers. There are only 85,000 H1B visas to be granted in 2016, and google tells me we had more than 10x that many software devs and engineers in 2002 which has surely grown and only a fraction of STEM!

I think you just bitter because of the mistakes you regret. I think you are a petty and foul person who wants to rejoice in the imagined suffering of others. If you think you have made a mistake it is never to late to get into STEM, perhaps something like CodeAcademy or Kahn Academy can help you start undoing regrets.

Sincerly,

It doesn't, but there is such a thing as people born with disorders which make their biological sex hard to determine. This doesn't apply to Caitlyn Jenner though, who is biologically 100% male.

I call you whatever you look like. Don't get pissy with me if you "identify as a man" but you're wearing pink lipstick and a traditionally feminine haircut.

Edit: on that note, is it really so terrible of me to not want the world to become more androgynous? Like, I'm straight. If I'm out trolling for dick, I'm going to go after someone that looks like they have a dick. I would be extremely disappointed if I got home with a man and it turned out that this man had a vagina. Is it really so terrible of me to want to be able to tell the difference just by looking at you? Is it?

I'm really not against trans people. You do you. I can't tell you what you feel or want. But I'd still like to be able to tell what equipment you have without having to ask.

This is the most entitled post I've read in this thread. At least a lot of other people are arguing logically for their dickish opinions. You're just arguing that your convenience is more important than other people's emotions, and not to a small degree.

I think most of the black people in America are really lazy and generally try to ride off of everyone else's work and money.

I never tip and never will. Have always had good service and havnt lost any friends over it.

Edit: I don't tip because I payed for my service. Where I live employers have to pay their servers minimum wage no matter what and can't get around it with tips. You can bring in the argument that many places don't have a minimum wage but that's an issue that has to be fixed politically as no one except rich folks have the cash to tip every single minimum wage worker. Tips aren't even that big of a thing at all where I live and no one here would even think of contaminating food because the two times that's happened to someone here in the past 8 years they people who contaminated said food where subject to mass media shaming and news stories. If you want more money just ask for more money when you bill me. Also the amount of people calling me an asshole and saying no one likes me is quite funny because despite this I take people out often and none of us tip and we still make good conversation, have good service, and make friends and have yet to be insulted by anyone. So I'm happy I don't love in some backwater of a nation that requires servers to make money via tips.

From my personal experience (and I do a lot of driving), women and Asians are most likely to sit in the left lane doing 10km/h under the speed limit. Women are the only ones who have ever merged onto the highway, straight across 3-6 lanes of traffic, cut me off and sit in front of me doing 20-30km/h slower than I was.

Yoga is the lazy person's exercise. I'm not trying to downplay the potential physical (mostly flexibility) or spiritual (therapeutic) benefits, but the way that some women tout it as if it makes them "fit" is just laughable. To get real results, you have to put in work. Lift the weights, run the miles, and feel the pains of physical exertion. Stronger muscle require tears and builds, the majority of which you're not going to achieve on a frigging yoga mat.

I'm a racist.

I generally do not care for black people. Most are the kind who live off government wellfare, do drugs, pop kids out like a Easy Bake Oven, and are just drains on society. I live in a city with a large black populations. We have so much crime and it's almost always black on white or black on black. When a white man kills a black guy it's a hate crime? Yes, Charleston was and it's tragic. Let's not harp on that. I'm talking about general day to day cases. Everyone is so quick to pull the race card and it sucks. I'm a white make, but I never had slaves. My parents never had slaves. My grandparents never had slaves. My great grandparents never had slaves because they were immigrants! Stop trying to make me feel like I owe something to you. Just because you're black doesn't mean you should get preferential treatment.

I do have black friends and I love them dearly. They work hard, are extremely intelligent, and don't accept handouts. Many were raised in rough environments by shitty parents, so I'm racist towards their families, but not my friends. My friends aren't like that.

I also hate how most black people speak. "aks", "birfday", and really most slang. Speak proper English. When I see a well-spoken black person, it's so refreshing.

Uh, AMA?

There are those who "live off government wellfare, do drugs," and "pop kids out like a Easy Bake Oven" in every ethnic and racial group. Blacks sometimes get preferential treatment because there are still racists like you that discriminate against them based off of their skin. Only SOME black people talk the way you described, and that's just because their parents were too poor to offer them a proper education or that's simply their accent. By this logic, wouldn't that mean that British people or Australian people also don't speak "Proper English"?

I know this thread was for people to confess their unpopular opinions that would make them sound like a prick, but this opinion makes you a prick. Your entire comment, just the way it's written, let alone the opinion explained in it, screams Neo-KKK, White Supremacy, conceited elitism that sensible people have been trying so hard to vanquish ever since slavery has been abolished.

Take a look in the mirror. How would you feel if everyone around you immediately made negative assumptions about you SOLELY based off of your skin tone? Not so good, I'd imagine. Not good at all.

I think having children is an incredibly selfish thing to do given today's world.

Old people suck. I hate every single one of them. They can't hear what I say or can't keep up with what I say so I have to repeat myself a million times.

They constantly need help with stupid stuff. Can you read this for me? Can you show me how to text? In my occupation I constantly have to instruct people 50+ how to use their smart phones and it is FRUSTRATING AS HELL.

I ask, "do you have data?" "What's data?! How do i get that?! Oh no don't make me push a button on my phone, I don't want to break it!"

Once again. I hate them. I hate interacting with them. I hate fake laughing at their jokes. I hate having to wait for them to remember their question or why they came into the store.

THEY PAY WITH CHECKS. WAKE UP PEOPLE. NOBODY USES CHECKS ANYMORE. I actually have to teach my cashiers how to write a check so they can then accept a correctly written one because they've never seen a freaking check!

There are exceptions to every rule. Some old people are technology savvy and actually quiet and non-naggy. Those people are awesome and gold mines for cool stories about the old days.

But the rest of them. They suck.

I feel sorry for you and your lackluster view towards the elderly. Respect them for fuck's sake.

Old people are wonderful; I cant wait for you to get old and become the subject of an enraged preteen on Reddit.

Women, in general, are really not very good at programming. I've met some competent ones so I'm not saying it's impossible but most women I've ever interacted with in my field just are not very good. 90% of the women I've met in my field wouldn't be in the positions they're in if they were men.

Am woman, tried programming, did not like it. To put it super simply, I figure it's just the way our brains work. Some women get lucky and can program, but just not me.

Probably because you hold them to higher standards and then focus on them more because you don't expect/want them to be good.

90% of the women I've met in my field wouldn't be in the positions they're in if they were men.

Maybe they're worse then because they don't need to be as good?

Republicans are either stupid or evil. America would be better without any of them. Ideally, they would all disappear, and the remaining Democrats would split into their version of conservative and liberal.

Pedophiles are monsters.

Edit: I get your point people. Child molester are the real monsters.
BUT we're talking prick opinions, right? And thinking of ANYONE jerking off to child photos gets me back to my post.

I respect your opinion, but being a pedophile isn't an option. It's the same thing as being gay, except an attraction that happens to be towards children/young teens, (and often towards their own age group too).

They aren't doing any harm by just having the attraction. They aren't hurting anybody. They become a monster once they act upon those desires and actually hurt a child. Even just sitting behind a screen and watching it happen is wrong, I'm not saying it has to be first hand.

Many pedophiles don't necessarily like that they feel the way they do, and most don't act upon those wishes. People should try and support them, rather than make them hide and feel worse about themselves. Scaring them into hiding isn't going to help fix the problem or come to any solutions.

Anyways, just my 2 cents. I think hating on them because of their attraction, is the same as hating a gay person just because of theirs. And that isn't very fair.

Disclaimer: I'm not a pedophile.

Tipping is stupid, if I like your service then I will become a repeat customer.

Most of the opinions on here I agree with, but this is totally in the wrong. People working in jobs that are regularly tipped make anywhere from 2-4 dollars an hour. Half that of minimum wage. Lets say a hairdresser or waitress serves two to three people every hour. This for some makes minimum wage, others perhaps a little better. Employees rely on tips to pay their rent/bills and you are 100% part of the problem.

People with downs syndrome, notice I said *people** * have 47 chromosomes. Humans have 46.

Ergo, Downs syndrome means you aren't really human.

Note, until today I kept this opinion strictly to myself. I feel that its a pretty sick opinion and is pretty deep in eugenics, which I completely loathe on principle. Nonetheless, I feel that a person with downs syndrome isn't human.

humans have 2 arms therefore amputees are not human. Hopefuly you can see how this logic is faulty.

Edit: I know the analogy isn't perfect the point was that not having the same characteristics as a normal human isn't what determines humanity like most analogys it falls apart if you put too much thought into it

More power to you to sticking to your beliefs. The closest religion I identify with is Lutheran, but I have some very strong opinions about certain aspects of it's teachings. I think in the end you just need to find the faith that works for you and that as an individual gives you strength.

Gay Marriage is wrong, but only because marriage is a religious event, and if someone who is religious believes homosexuality is wrong, then they should be able to refuse them. I don't hate gay people, just gay marriage, I also believe there needs to be a marriage ceremony that is non-religious for people that don't practice Christianity and for gay people. However if a church is willing to marry a gay couple by the church's own accord, then that marriage should take place.

I honestly hate America as its a racist, homophobic, terroristic nation even to its own citizens. The military is horrible and is incredibly dependent on the poor because that is who will join just to afford housing and schooling behind high school. The wars we fight do more harm than good and were wrong to be started in the first place. So basically fuck America

Why don't waiters work somewhere that pays minimum wage, instead of going on reddit and complaining about it.

Feminism is toxic. Not even just the extreme flavor, either. Its entire axiom is a bit flawed, IMO. It's created an entire population of entitled women and man-children that, at 30, are "unsure of what they want" and presents a very unhealthy take on dating, gender, marriage, childrearing, and the world.

This comment is why we need feminism!

I don't understand how people can eat meat without feeling a tinge of remorse, especially if they know how horribly those animals were treated.

Really, I don't care what you eat, as long as you understand where your food is coming from.

I never feel guilty about anything I eat, because as opposed to looking at it with remorse, I relish it. They are a lower animal, and in the case of many of them their continued existence is solely dependent on our wanting them as a food source. I just can't get over the fact that a living thing was born and raised with the ultimate objective of becoming the flesh that I consume. It's gloriously empowering, if anything. That chicken was made to be because someone cared enough about its existence, and its life was eventually forfeit as payment back to those that caused it to be in the beginning.

I don't feel bad if I take apart a machine and use the parts for something else. I see animals as machines made out of different components.

You femenazi shits. Edit: I fucking hate you. Also, I do like the idea of equal rights. But it's most likely never going to happen.

Modern day feminists are making me hate being a woman.

im totally for equal rights , but those modern day cunts wont stop until every man has to hide in a cave of inferiority

and please, if i hold a door open for a woman(or any person) then im not trying to opress said person, then im just me being a fucking nice guy!

I'm so sorry. Being a guy means I can't say anything hate related to women, because they'll just kill me with anything they have.

Those women are insecure and look for any excuse they can to bring the opposite gender down because it just helps them get to sleep better at night. It's not feminism - it's gender-specific elitism.

I'm a woman. I've come to terms with the fact that most of us have become bitches because of the whole modern-day victimizing routine. And I apologize as a woman, representing women, that men like you have to walk on pins and needles around us, or else get fired or sued. You shouldn't have to pay the price as an entire population for narcissistic complaining.

I do not care what they say, there is no gay gene. There is no fat gene. There is no inner mechanism making these people do anything. They are attracted to who they are attracted to, their image is their image. Quit trying to come up with scientific reason to justify what people are comfortable with, but the so called "world opinion" isn't.....

That and I'm sorry, but gay men that are very feminine, why the hell do you alter your voice to sound like that? I knew a guy who came out and from then on he started talking with that feminine tone and extra "s" emphasis. Like I don't care that you are gay, but YOU DO NOT SOUND LIKE THAT KNOCK IT OFF.

Babies aren't people. Neither are toddlers. Being human involves some degree of intelligence, self-awareness, and empathy. Without them... meh. Its a really clever animal that will one day become a human under normal circumstances.

There are different subspecies of humans, grounded heavily in genetics, which have different physical and intellectual abilities. Forced multiculturalism and diversity is destroying the unique culture, physical appearance, and behavior of these subspecies, which would otherwise interact in a more natural way with each other.

I think republicans are stupid, and you are really of your rocker if you are a woman and republican.

Or a fucking black republican. Mexican republicans too. Holy shit what is wrong with you, a large portion of your political group actively think that you're lesser human beings. Another large portion think the same, but lie to your face about it.

[–]The_Power_Of_Three 9ポイント10ポイント  (1子コメント)

Not all republicans think women and minorities are lesser human beings!

Some don't really consider them human at all.

I believe all people who become severely ill or have stage three of four cancer should not be allowed to have medical attention to save them. And all people who have severe mental defects/disorders/illnesses shouldn't be allowed to have natural born kids. No one should be able to have more than two natural born kids. Our planet is already so overpopulated. Letting people die would help. And adoption is needed for kids who do not have families.

Dogs are fucking stupid and basically all instinct. I love my dog and he's not dumber than other dogs, and he's kind and he's cuddly.

A two year old baby is leagues smarter than a dog. A dog is kind of on the same level intelligence-wise as a two year old.

Edit: And if you think your dog in particular is really smart and "understands" you then you're either dumb as a brick or lying to yourself. A dog can read facial expressions but they will never understand why you feel what you feel.

Well it's not popular on Reddit, and you usually get downvoted into oblivion for saying this, but religion is a cause of some great evils within society today and in the past.

We should euthanize people with Down syndrome and force an abortion before they are born

Minimum wage shouldn't be raised.

Why do you believe that? why should people like cashiers, who still fulfil a necessary job that requires a person to show up and give their time, effort, and skills should not beagle to afford an apartment food and clothes? Or afford medical care?

Like I really don't see any reason not to raise minimum wage

All these fucking minorities are crying wolf and the majority is catering to them. It's fucking bullshit, I hate entitled blacks, asians, etc. using the race card every chance they get. Those are the kind of bitches who reinforce stereotypes and provoke racism.

50% of them however are sound of mind, respectable, intelligent, socially responsible and a pleasure to share the same land with and be friends. More of them please.

Assholes are everywhere, except the non-white assholes like to pull shit to blame everything on racism.

3rd trimester abortions should be legal and i don't like mentaly challenged people.

Most people who voted for Obama only did so because he's black. Likewise, most of the people who are going to vote for Hillary will only do so because she's a woman.

...or because he's not an irrational bible-thumping, fear-mongering ultra conservative.

Yup all people who disagree with your lord and savior Obama are irrational, bible thumping, fear mongering, ultra conservatives... Give me a break. You should really reread this and look at how stupid you sound.

What...I don't know how you can assume that's what /u/JeffersonSpicoli is saying, considering he never even said that anyone who disagrees with Obama is a irrational, bible thumping, fear mongering, ultra conservative...stop putting words in other people's mouth. You should really reread this and look at how stupid you sound.

Your ability to deduce all of that about OP from his post astonishes me. Please teach your wondrous ways.

I think women are often times irrational and generally have a hard time looking at a situation objectively and using logic to make the best decision. Particularly when emotions are involved.

I feel like are real dick writing this. And I know plenty of guys who have these same problems. I just tend to see this problem a lot with the girls I know. I apologize :(
