Can I share something? So I've never been street harassed, and I'm pretty sure it's because my body language is masculine. I just don't look like a target. Guys will holla at a plastic bag waving in the wind and it lights up the "target" pattern in their heads, but they don't holla at me, and basically that's how I realized I was genderqueer.

My best friend is genderqueer/genderfluid and says that they almost never get street harassed for the same reason.  When it does happen (which is rare) they are shocked and almost doubt their own perception because it’s such a strange experience.  But they recognize that their gender expression tends to repel the kind of straight men that would normally yell gross shit at a feminine-presenting person in public.
