You know, you and I share many of the same goals and ideals, and yet here we sit, with insults and invective flying about. When you go on a platform like this one, and start spouting these ideas that are not grounded is fact but conjecture, you do more harm to the cause than you do good. My grandfather was a great man. He was a Lord, and in my opinion those of his generation were the last of the real lords we had, men of uncompromising principles and real solid substance. He used to tell me that our position of privilege came with a job that had to be done. We were spared toil, but in return we were obligated to cultivate ourselves as much as possible, so that we could in turn teach and lead our people.
