For the position of Talent Relations Representative, reddit is looking for enthusiastic candidates who are personable and social individuals, comfortable with scheduling,very strong typing skills, and familiar with reddit (or hungry enough to learn and impress us in the process). Your responsibilities would involve reporting to the co-founder on a regular basis as you develop, nurture and maintain relationships with noteworthy individuals. Some of these tasks may involve responding at odd hours to emails pertaining to last minute requests and/or logistics, proactively finding contact information for individuals that reddit is looking to build a relationship with, coordinating AMAs across the platform and occasionally transcribing them. Due to the nature of a role at a site with millions of users, plus the gaze of media at large, it’s important to be able to handle stress with outward grace. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: Strong conversational skills Ability to identify topics or communities (e.g., a scientist answering questions with the r/Art community) where various talent would fit in and excel Helping to coordinate AMAs in various communities, and understanding procedure for each one Experience working with celebrities and their teams Work to build relationships with reddit moderators and support AMAs across platform QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree Proven PR or Agency experience (at least two years preferred) Excellent communication skills (phone, written and in person) Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Ability to adapt to the needs of people you are in communication with externally as well as managers internally
