Not really. The Nazi forces developed a shock and awe tactic called Blitzkrieg. It required extremely fast movement of troops and to take land very quickly to support the army. Their main fault was to open up an Eastern Front during the winter (though this was necessary as the Western Front had stalled).
AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY LMAO. I'm writing this in the library (class was cancelled bruvs, shit was dank) and I just began laughing uncontrollably. All the studious people are giving me glares now.
Lets break down this intro-turd one more time:
Not really. The Nazi forces developed a shock and awe tactic called Blitzkrieg. It required extremely fast movement of troops and to take land very quickly to support the army.
TOTALLY. NEW. CONCEPT. NEVER. SEEN. BEFORE. EVER.
Their main fault was to open up an Eastern Front during the winter (though this was necessary as the Western Front had stalled).
If by 'stalled' you mean 'there's this short and shallow channel of water in front of us that we're too pants-shittingly incompetent to cross, so we'll just shake our fists at Dover from Calais and hope that works' ...then yes.
Not quite sure what this bruv is smokin' but I want a motherfucking puff. Barbarossa as I'm sure is commonly known on this sub, was launched in late June. Even the most virulent critics of the Operation often admit that it was launched in 'militarily favorable conditions' and achieved a modicum of surprise. So he's just plain wrong first and foremost, and then 'muh General Winter' rears its ugly head. I'm no exp- Wait, I am. Okay, here's their main fault: Launching a war of genocidal annihilation without a total-war economy against one of the most industrially-potent nations in the world. Arrogance, hubris, racism and bed-shitting lunacy, thanks Adolf!
It gets better though, so, so much better.
The Germans did call it that [Blitzkrieg], as a matter of fact they created the term in mid-30s following the tactic's first field test in the Spanish revolution.
No. They didn't, please immolate yourself.
First shock troops would break enemy lines and route defenders, allowing the regular army to advance behind them ...
that's what made the blitzkrieg an innovative move.
So innovative - its not like it was based on principals long established in warfare! The irony here is that this is all happening on a thread about the Revolutionary French military, who practiced a similar tactic by using compact columns to smash into points of the line, well covered by skirmishers, and attempt to feed forces-of-exploitation through the shattered portion of the line. The basic shock-action tenets of Blitzkrieg are so original that we can fucking date them to at least 1792, ayyyy - and much earlier I suspect.
Operation sea lion should of happened not barbarossa if hitler wanted to win

Hitler did nothing wrong
Ayyy lmao
No it is not "patently untrue". Hitlers top generals warned of an offensive on the eastern front to hitler and instead of bombing raf bases during the blitzkreig attacks he bombed cities
Ah the famous 'if only he listened to his generals.' So, as has been pointed out so many times that I'm actually growing physically ill at the thought of re-hashing it: This is not what fucking happpened, at all.
The switch to bombing cities was as much Hitler's idea as it was his top Generals, because despite their (faulty) intelligence lying overestimating their successes, bombing airfields wasn't putting them out of action. So they moved to civilians to try and break British spirit. Desperate moves by a desperate combat-arm.
had hitler effectively removed the rafs capabilities he could in fact order a full scale invasion from calais to dover and so forth.
Break out the paddles, Fritz!
He could've ordered a full scale invasion, but he probably would've been told that they had no surface fleet of any kind capable of launching this assault any time soon. Oh sorry, I forgot, logistics don't apply to German supermen.
he already diverted a quarter of germanys armies to the eastern front, had he not done that and held his non aggression pact with stalin whilst also blockading the usas supplies to uk, the uk would of thoroughly been under nazi control.
"If he had just ignored his pathological hatred for Slavs and his entire reason d'etre, he would've won" - I'm sure oil would've appeared out of nowhere, Britain would've taken their ball and went home because reasons and that drug-addiction would've cleared itself right up. Damnit Hitler, don't you know that these problems just fix themselves if you had a little patience!?
Stalin was a callous man and cold at heart
Unlike that cutie Adolf -blushes-
However had germany captured Malta it would also allow it and japan to coincide in the indian ocean therefore driving out the british and American opposition.
THE SUEZ CANAL MAGICALLY DISAPPEARS!
Britain in spite of its navy was not ready for an invasion on such a scale.
I guess all those air defense units, trained pilots, radar installations and the mass mobilization of the Home Guard didn't give the necessary +10 to defense.
