Oh man so much... let's begin

Both you and a mouse can experience pain

Prove it. Prove my perception and the mouses perception of pain are the same. Does a trout experience pain? How about a worm? How about a bacteria, do you weep when you take antibiotics? When you kill a fly?

Killing a mouse in a way that does not cause it pain is more humane because experiencing uncontrollable pain is not pleasant.

Pleasant is a human construct, you are anthropomorphizing, you are projecting human perceptions onto a mouse. You need to prove the mouse can perceive things the way a human does.. good luck.

Is being eaten alive more humane? So you think trapping it, (whereby if we apply human emotions it would be greatly distressed), and then releasing it far away from it's home (still sticking with human emotions) to a field where it will likely be eaten alive by a bird or cat is somehow more humane than quickly snapping it's neck?

I'd rather not experience pain, and I'd imagine the mouse probably feels the same way

I imagine all sorts of things, it doesn't make them true. You are telling me you know how a mouse feels?!! Are you a mutant? You have super powers?

If you try to argue that than you're just insane.

You are the one who thinks they have super powers.

Wow. You went from having a mildly unpopular opinion to straight up retarded so fast.

There's nothing wrong with a heated debate, but keep the insults to yourself.

Instead of taking the time to type this whole thing out you could've just Googled "do mice feel pain" and... poof all your questions are answered!

Prove it.

I love how much of a bubble you live in acting like there isn't this thing called science that has proved it before multiple times. Don't act like such a smart-ass sometimes. "Prove it" isn't a good argument in most situations.

Fish have been proven to experience at least some level of pain similar to our own.

Bacteria are nothing but a cell, and since cells do not have consciousness, they don't.

Most insects do not have nociceptors (a notable exception being, ironic since you mentioned flies, the fruit fly), so it is inconclusive that they feel pain. However, they most certainly feel. But whether or not they notice damage because of pain or some other complex physical state is not currently known.

I mean, technically, I don't even know for sure that you experience pain. You could be a philosophical zombie, but I assume that since you respond to stimuli in a similar way to me, that you probably perceive pain in a similar way. So, you know, I wouldn't needlessly inflict it on you.
