Edit: Got a few upvotes, so I will say that this subreddit is a joke on reddit not because of bad information but because of shit click bait posts like this. Since obviously it would be a contradiction for mods to delete posts from here, it's on the community to not upvote this garbage, especially when we have the official documents are available to contradict the article.

The only "Attestment" going on here is that the FBI investigated the possibility of Hitler in South America.

Although this is definitely interesting, and certainly possible, however if you open the original source it says "Hitler reported to be hiding (...) unable to be verified". So basically it is like saying "I met with a 20 feet tall green alien today from Venus and we talked for 3 hours about music and space travel, but sorry, it cannot be verified in any way, just believe me". Possible, but not confirmed. At least not by a secondary source, only by this informant.

That wouldn't be necessary because the allied forces had the upper hand. They were going to take those scientists and every piece of technology and military plans Germany had no matter what. Hitler had no bargaining power.

I don't understand what that has to do with anything? We mostly just dropped nukes on Japan because we wanted to test out the bomb in an active war situation and send a message to the Soviets. We weren't going to drop a nuke in Europe. We carpet bombed Dresden and Berlin and Hamburg so it isn't like Germany got off without being completely ravaged. Do you actually think after we defeated Germany, Hitler had negotiation power? His army was defeated. What could he use as leverage? It doesn't make any sense.

Ionno...doesn't seem like the most hated man of that century could be kept secret. This is right after the Allies discover the death camps set up for jews...the world is in pure shock and disgust at what had occured. This is just not something the average person could keep secret, because they wouldn't want to. I'm iffy on this one.

Oh yeah they did shittons of drugs, but Hitler injected amphetamines, which are wildly destructive to the nervous system. Near the end he couldn't walk without aid, shook violently and was frequently speaking incoherently. It's theorized it's one of the reasons we won the war. When one of his generals requested permission to retreat from....Leningrad i think, Hitler replied "you may retreat as long as you can still hold the city". The general stayed and 500,000 soldiers were slaughtered or imprisoned in Siberia. If they had returned to Germany the war could have been dragged out years longer.

It's well established that Nazi officials escaped to Argentina and bought or built mansions but I don't see any proof at all in these documents indicating Hitler was among them.
