"Faggotry"? Really? This isn't 4chan you fucking moron. What is wrong with you?

you fucking moron

Your comment would have had the same impact without this line. Be careful you aren't becoming what you're criticizing here.

Please don't pull the "insulting someone makes you just as bad as them" bullshit. This entire thread reeks of wannabe pol/locks. Obviously if they actually did frequent pol they wouldn't be browsing reddit. This whole thread is a cringefest. This guy comes in here using language like "why do companies take them sjw fags serious?" expecting to be treated like an adult with an adult conversation and gets mad when I point out he's a moron? Ok.

I get that this thread is entirely uncharacteristic of reddit and appears to essentially be an 8chan thread which lost its way and ended up on KiA.

That being said, it doesn't mean there's any justification or merit to calling the guy a fucking moron. This is basically a cultural clash.

What I'm saying is that responding to something you disagree with as "hey you fucking moron" is more like 8chan culture, which is slightly ironic given the context here.

I see your point. I reacted that way because of how uncharacteristic it was of KiA and expected better. However, I should not have jumped to insulting him immediately.

I knew some PRfag would chime in on this. Way to not dissapoint.

Or maybe some people think chan-culture is just pathetic.

SJW SHILL CUCK PRFAG! Go back to 4chan you fucking moron.

SJWs took over 4chan why do you think GG happened?

If you think SJWs took over 4chan then you have never been to 4chan.

The proof SJWs took over is when GG got deleted you retard.

you retard

You could have said what you wanted to say without that last bit. Think you could leave that off next time? :)

yes "really" what's wrong with YOU. You add absolutely nothing to this conversation and call me a moron, gtfo.

When you title you post with the word "Faggotry" . You lose the right to be taken seriously.

[–]BlockPuppetCuck of /r/Polygon 1

"Stop tone policing"

No the only one who lose the right to be taken seriously is you, if you're more stuck up on words than context I don't know what the fuck you're doing in this sub, Fuck off, I could not care less, if your only contribution to this is "don't say faggot" your brain apparantly stops functioning when you're "triggered"

I know "he started it", but you should dial it down a few notches, please.

Noted, I'll say it with a cup of tea next time ;D

If you want to encourage debate and discourse, then don't come across as some 12 year old who just learned new swear words.

if you want to encourage debate you encourage debate and take the concern trolling faggotry elsewhere so you can wag your finger at how bad it is to say "faggot" if you're unable to comprehend a message because it contains the word faggot, you're the one there's something wrong with.

Consider what you would think if someone came into 4chan and started saying "hey guys I don't think we should say "faggot" anymore, it's mean. I guarantee you the entire thread would be triggered instantly.

So, consider your audience. This is reddit, not *chan.

haha!

To be honest I didn't have any other word at the time so I just went with faggotry.

My point still stands though, if we want discussions we need to go for context and message, not nitpicking and fingerwagging because of "triggering" words, it diverts discussion, and adds absolutely nothing to it, the internet is made up of people who has multiple dialects and languages, not to mention slang and we should be able to look past our differences, get to the core meanings, points and messages instead. I doubt the people who show up to "muh pr" read longer than the title based on their comments of only the title (would love to be proven wrong.) Maybe I've been trolled ._.

PS. I don't frequent chans, I think I visit one at most 10-20 times a year

The real issue here is that your word choice adds nothing to the discussion. If you really want to have a discussion with a group of people, and those people are like "hey that word you used is garbage, maybe don't use that here", and your response is "hey idiots, I can say what I want because dialogue!" then it becomes increasingly obvious that it's you who isn't interested in dialogue, because you're completely disregarding your supposed audience. Get it?

Again, for emphasis: your word choice added nothing to the supposed discussion.

Nonsense, stupidity, faggotry, it shouldn't matter which word I went with, this is a highly free speech, anti-political correctness sub who makes actual discussion, the response of the audience (the Majority of course) hasn't been "don't say faggot" it's the two bottom comments, they are highly off topic and they add absolutely nothing to this discussion about why some companies would support SJW faggotry.

I'm having a hard time seeing how I'm in the wrong here when I bring up a subject and I call out some responses for bringing nothing to the conversation. This isn't a hivemind sub, we have channers among us and we'd be getting nowhere if we started pointing out how "bad" simple words are in every single topic instead of discussing the message at hand.

Most people in the comments understood and read the topic, some agree some disagree, some have comments others thought "fuck off tinfoil dumbass" I'm fine with that.

My choise of words adds nothing, but it removes nothing either, it describes something, a bunch of ideas and practices. Had I removed it it would say it supports SJW's, but it's not the people that's the point, it's some of the ideas that is built in this line of thinking.

I'm not a native english speaker, and I won't feel bad for saying a word, nor will I feel guilty when I had no other choice at that time, and I'm not gonna spend time on making sure I did not "offend" anyone with my choice of words, if some people cannot handle them they probably had nothing good to say anyway about the topic.

If people are confused about something in my post, or if I somehow wrote something that is not understood correctly people can address it without questioning my mental capacity or the state of my sanity.

Friendly reminder that "bad words" and "swear words" are the first kind of words people learn in other languages are usually "dick", "pussy", "tits" and "ass" in no particular order.

Have a nice day ^

Sounds like some faggot needs to watch the episode of South Park where faggot no longer means gay, faggot

Is that why we argue that the definition of racism hasn't changed from its dictionary definition?
