Basically It came when I made this post

I hate social justice warriors, to be honest I couldn't care less about these worthless wastes of human space, I wish the world knew about them so they could tell people to fuck of whenever they show their ugly heads to shout "muh racism" "Muh soggy knee" or whatever shaming technique is "in" this week so we can get back to improving society without your need to further make it worse when we have serious problems that need addressing.

It got me thinking "Why are there companies who actually WANT to support these idiots?" and I thought about occupy wallstreet, how private corporations are a threat to free speech, the TPP, sopa, pipa etc. and their push for continued influence and power. I knew this and I put it together with one of the problems western civilization currently faces (part of my rant), a wealthy elite that would like to stay wealthy and do what they can to stay wealthy even if it means fucking over the people working. If big corporations get to put in laws that damage free speech based on SJW rantings they get more power to sue people making claims against them on bad industry practices, in other words, SJW's are Useful Idiots.

So I have a question, has this been thought about before? Is there a rebuttal?

This is probably why GG opponents tend to dismiss the 'consumer vs anti-consumer' implications behind unethical journalism, because companies would benefit more from anti-consumer practices. Having someone else stand up against all the gamers/consumers by branding them as misogynists/racists/transphobes/nazis does the job for these companies.

So Intel was emailed by Gamergate for their sponsoring of Gamasutra. They dropped the advertisement for a while before succumbing to the pressure of aGG. You see, aGG started pushing the Gamergate = harassment, terrorist movement narrative and then emailed Intel that they (Intel) just met the demands of said harassment, terrorist movement. Being scared of the looming PR hit, they reinstated their sponsorship of Gamasutra.

The reinstatement was enough for aGG though. When SJWs feel scorned by anyone, the only way to apologize to them is to grovel on the floor and pay for the damages against SJWs being triggered. So, Femfreq probably leaned on Intel, dropping hints that not cooperating means a hate campaign against Intel for not being diverse, which is PR kill for any major corporation, and voila. Intel starts a diversity initiative with none other than Femfreq and a few of their partners.

The links on the sidebar provides all of the evidence suggesting that the probability of it going down like I described is very likely.

Edit: And using "faggotry?" Really? You can say whatever you want, but realize that freedom to say what you want comes with freedom to be criticized by what you say too.

A few things of note.

Intel supported multiple organisations, FemFreq and IGDA was only there for PR obviously, some of the organisations they supported weren't really SJW'ish but still bad in the sense that it focuses on women only instead of both genders while telling women that stem is not dangerous

Also Intels ads are gone from Gamasutra, they just did it quitely at the end of January this year, someone said it on twitter, I went there and looked f5'ing a few times, don't know if nationality has any say in it though.

I get that this thread is entirely uncharacteristic of reddit and appears to essentially be an 8chan thread which lost its way and ended up on KiA.

That being said, it doesn't mean there's any justification or merit to calling the guy a fucking moron. This is basically a cultural clash.

What I'm saying is that responding to something you disagree with as "hey you fucking moron" is more like 8chan culture, which is slightly ironic given the context here.

To be honest I didn't have any other word at the time so I just went with faggotry.

My point still stands though, if we want discussions we need to go for context and message, not nitpicking and fingerwagging because of "triggering" words, it diverts discussion, and adds absolutely nothing to it, the internet is made up of people who has multiple dialects and languages, not to mention slang and we should be able to look past our differences, get to the core meanings, points and messages instead. I doubt the people who show up to "muh pr" read longer than the title based on their comments of only the title (would love to be proven wrong.) Maybe I've been trolled ._.

PS. I don't frequent chans, I think I visit one at most 10-20 times a year

The real issue here is that your word choice adds nothing to the discussion. If you really want to have a discussion with a group of people, and those people are like "hey that word you used is garbage, maybe don't use that here", and your response is "hey idiots, I can say what I want because dialogue!" then it becomes increasingly obvious that it's you who isn't interested in dialogue, because you're completely disregarding your supposed audience. Get it?

Nonsense, stupidity, faggotry, it shouldn't matter which word I went with, this is a highly free speech, anti-political correctness sub who makes actual discussion, the response of the audience (the Majority of course) hasn't been "don't say faggot" it's the two bottom comments, they are highly off topic and they add absolutely nothing to this discussion about why some companies would support SJW faggotry.

I'm having a hard time seeing how I'm in the wrong here when I bring up a subject and I call out some responses for bringing nothing to the conversation. This isn't a hivemind sub, we have channers among us and we'd be getting nowhere if we started pointing out how "bad" simple words are in every single topic instead of discussing the message at hand.

Most people in the comments understood and read the topic, some agree some disagree, some have comments others thought "fuck off tinfoil dumbass" I'm fine with that.

My choise of words adds nothing, but it removes nothing either, it describes something, a bunch of ideas and practices. Had I removed it it would say it supports SJW's, but it's not the people that's the point, it's some of the ideas that is built in this line of thinking.

I'm not a native english speaker, and I won't feel bad for saying a word, nor will I feel guilty when I had no other choice at that time, and I'm not gonna spend time on making sure I did not "offend" anyone with my choice of words, if some people cannot handle them they probably had nothing good to say anyway about the topic.

If people are confused about something in my post, or if I somehow wrote something that is not understood correctly people can address it without questioning my mental capacity or the state of my sanity.

Friendly reminder that "bad words" and "swear words" are the first kind of words people learn in other languages are usually "dick", "pussy", "tits" and "ass" in no particular order.
