Once we can sequence people's genome's inexpensively we can put people's whole genetic sequence on the blockchain. This is not too long in the future--storage is getting cheaper and the price of sequencing your DNA is a few thousand dollars and falling.

Once your DNA sequence is on the decentralized blockchain, it will be as hard to change as all the deeds and smart contracts. No more mutations. No more cancer.

Huh. What if all other diseases were on the blockchain too? Then, whenever someone invented a new disease, everyone could have it once a block confirms it.
