It wasn't brought by her campaign.

The suit was brought by Citizens United. They were seeking an injunction against the FEC. Her campaign had nothing to do with it.

There wasn't really a clearly defined political motive. He did mention wanting to start a race war, which COULD be interpreted as a political motive . . . but it's a big iffy.

He mostly killed black people because he hates black people . . . which is just murder and/or a hate crime if you believe in such definitions.

“I will do everything I can to appoint Supreme Court justices who protect the right to vote and do not protect the right of billionaires to buy elections,”

That's exactly what people are complaining about.

That has NOTHING to do with Citizens United. Billionaires can buy elections already with absolutely no legal hurdles and Citizens United didn't change that.

Either Hillary has no idea what Citizens United was about, or she's just saying pretty words that are completely unconnected to the issue. And it's pretty weird, because Citizens United was trying to publish a movie critical of Hillary that caused this entire mess.

Citizens United was trying to spend $30,000 to publish and advertise a movie critical of Hillary. This was not about billionaires, this was about the government restricting political speech of a small movie publisher.

Reddit is a corporation. NPR is a corporation. Planned Parenthood is a corporation. Would anyone support the government being able to ban these corporations from spending money to criticize politicians?

Obama's actions on immigration are actually a terrible precedent, and I don't think many people realize how bad it is when they go unchecked.

Literally the EXACT same justification could be used by a Republican President to tell energy companies "you're exempt from the Clean Air Act, as long as you spend $1B advertising how awesome anti-environmentalism is and how awesome I am."

Obama was asked about a future president exempting corporations from tax law and he just said "that's different" . . . but not explanation as to how.

Socialism has nothing to do with natural resources. Nearly everywhere has natural resources owned by the people.

Socialism is about common ownership of the MEANS OF PRODUCTION.

Alaskans don't own Conoco-Philips or BP. It's not even remotely socialism.

For as much as we mock conservatives for not understanding what socialism is, we seem to have problems with it too.

It looked terrible in context. That entire "battle" was filmed like an away team fight scene in Star Trek.

I have a friend who works on this Google project. He said most of their collisions have been people anticipating the google car will drive like a normal person basically exactly like you described. Like, there will be a stop sign at the intersection of a busy road with a long line of cars waiting, and then an opening in traffic appears and everyone starts just blowing through the stop sign to make sure they can get on the road before the window is gone, and the person behind the google car expects it to just drive on through like everyone else, so their head is cranked making sure they're still in the clear, and BOOM! Turns out the google car made a complete stop.

There are plenty of secular and atheists in the world named Muhammad.

I'm sure that's the case . . . they still have a Muslim name, however.

There are plenty of atheists named "John" too, but it's still a Christian name.

Also, there are MANY non-Arabs named "Mohammad" but it's still an Arab name, too.

Which is why now it's an Arab name AND a Muslim name.

Jesus WAS Jewish, but you don't hear of many Jews named "Jesus" nowadays ;)
