It's always funny when people are believe in a thing and then have a whole subreddit devoted to showing counterexamples to the thing they believe in--but continue to believe in the thing.

The subreddit exists because it's uncommon to actually see these examples.

That's like looking at /r/WTF and saying "oh look these people are surprised by this kind of stuff when it clearly happens all the time; just look at this sub."

That's a false dichotomy you've got going there.

It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

Research has shown time and time again that women are sentenced more lightly for the same crime, and are typically approached with "kid gloves," for lack of a better term, by authority figures. The presence of /r/pussypassdenied doesn't invalidate these claims, it merely celebrates the cases where everyone was treated equally. It doesn't mean that it erases the bias towards women just because some women didn't benefit from it in a particular instance.

The "denied" part comes from the fact their female privilege was denied in a particular instance, not that anyone's denying its existence.

But it's meant to be pussypassdenied when women are trying to use gender to manipulate. Most posts in the sub are not about that. Yes, there is systemic inequality, but the sub is not a generic systemic inequality sub. It's very specific about being something that isn't included in the posts within.

Whatever you want to call it it's a proven fact that women get lighter/no sentences relative to men for the same offenses. Additionally there is really no social penalty for women being violent towards a man or his property; this doesn't hold true in reverse.

Your argument is essentially: how can anyone believe blacks get a raw deal in general with the US justice system while also believing OJ got away with murder. Check mate statistical evidence.
