Making the blockchain illegal. (self.Buttcoin)

If I put some illegal content in the block chain, like a copyrighted book, song, image, torrent files or documents leaked from the government by wikileaks, wouldn't it make all the bitcoin nodes break the law? (because they are providing illegal content).

But where would you send the DCMA's? Or could you just make a blanket announcement that every node is in breach of the law by hosting the blockchain.

They might even end up on a block chain gang!

There's already CP and copyrighted content on the blockchain.

There's no need for us to add in illegal content, bitcoiners already have that covered for us.

I think one transaction can be as big as 100kb and I think you only need to pay pennies for one transaction. With 100Kb you can upload leaked pictures of some naked celebrity or a torrent file...

I'd never condone putting illegal content on the blockchain. But if someone did it, lots (and informed Fox news or something). I've no doubt it would be good for Bitcoin.

More hilariously, if you uploaded a binary file with a virus (or a virus-like signature) you might be able to take down many nodes, as the AV software attempts to clean or shut down the process with the 'virus'.
